Latinos voting for Bush
Looks like the Latino vote is going the way of “red states” this year:
http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2004/10/27/220132.shtml
By the way, a Florida poll showed Bush with roughly 62% of the Latino vote in Florida. This is not just the Miami Cuban vote, which is reliably Republican, but the entire Latino population of Florida.
Looks like Kerry will have to pimp himself in more black churches to get his uninspired base motivated. That, plus he’ll need his lawyers on stand-by to fight to have military ballots thrown out again (like Dems shamelessly did in 2000)…can’t think of a better way to win over the hearts and minds of soldiers (who are breaking 70-30 for Bush right now) than to have their votes tossed. Seems like Dems are more concerned with votes from non-citizens, dead people, and felons than they are with military votes.

Great news. Thanks for the link to Newsmax story. Posted a link to you.
Did you see the Instapundit post about BILD the German newspaper endorsing the President?

I have to say I’m actually glad to hear this for other than the obvious reasons. Over the past several years, I keep hearing from the various “Hilary Youth” cultists that the Bushes hate the Hispanics. When asked how they “know” this, about all they can come up with is, “it’s obvious they do.” They keep trying to inject this stupidity into the Hispanic community.
It’s been funny to watch their heads nearly explode when I tell them that the entire idea is assinine due to the fact that 1) If Dubya hated the Hispanics so much, I doubt he’d have been so supported by a state with such a huge Hispanic population as Texas. He wouldn’t have been able to get elected as the septic tank cleaner, much less the Governor. 2) Little brother Jeb MARRIED A HISPANIC WOMAN! The brainwashed masses of the Left seem to always forget that little fact. During the hurricanes of this season, Jeb would always re-iterate his remarks in fluent Spanish. He is one of a very few non-Hispanic politicians that doesn’t sound like a complete prat when speaking Spanish.
It’s good to see that, perhaps, a large percentage of the Hispanic population is sick of being used by the left, and waking up to their bold face lies. If only the African-American population would do the same.
Keep it up, Johhny!

Welcome, Tom!
The African-American population will wake up one day, though it may take another generation or two. Polls consistently show that younger African-Americans (espcially those who are professionals in the workplace) are more likely to be Republican or independent than Democrat, at least compared to years past.
The last number I recall seeing was roughly 25%. Granted, that’s still small, but much better than the overall 7 – 12% that the GOP gets year in and year out. Once they start earning money, especially those that are college-educated, they don’t like the Democrat message of tax-and-spend.
It’ll come, though likely when we’re old or when we’re gone.
