UPDATE: ABC News holding NOW AUTHENTICATED videotape of terrorism warning!
This is an update to yesterday’s story of ABC sitting on the video of the terrorist. Their take was that they wanted the feds to authenticate it. Fair enough. Well, it looks like the feds have indeed authenticated it…yet ABC is weighing the political ramifications of running with the story!

I gave ABC the benefit of the doubt when they held off running until it could be validated. That’s responsible. Sitting on it because of “political fallout” validates all conservative and libertarian theories that the media is not only biased, but actively pursues its agenda.

Did President Bush catch Osama Bin Laden?
He had 3 years time.
He could not deliver what he promised us.

Hi, Sam (I’m guessing that’s your name, based on the handle). Welcome to the blog, and thanks for posting your views. All views are welcome here.
How do we know that bin Laden is even alive? Tapes? In no tape does he ever say anything that indicates it’s recent. Personally, I think he’s dead. But sure, I could be wrong.
I do wonder, though, what your question/comment has to do with the story that ABC could be sitting on a story that could benefit Bush? Do you condone any MSM (mainstream media) outlet sitting on a story to advance ANY (liberal or conservative) agenda or campaign? I don’t.
Besides, polls still show that an overwhelming majority of Americans favor Bush over Kerry on the war against terror…”failure” to catch bin Laden or not.

Millersam had a cute poem for me on a post about how we are winning in Iraq in which he introduced the topic of UBL also – not to mention the price of oil and the value of the dollar. Maybe typical Liberal attention deficit disorder or inability to argue the facts as they actually apply???
Really glad you noted Kerry’s and Daschle’s reaction to 9/11.
