Budget makes cuts, and uses Enron accounting

OK, Enron accounting might be a bit harsh. But the fact is that as much as I love the cuts in spending, the budget leaves out the cost of Iraq and Afghanistan operations.

Great! That means when I balance my checkbook, I’ll just leave the cost of my mortgage out of it, thus netting me an additional $1150 each month! Sure, the mortgage will actually have to get paid, but why sweat the details?

Like I said, I am a big supporter of the President, but unlike the Clinton Kool-Aid Drinkers of the left, I am actually capable of whacking the administration when it’s called for. Spending cuts: good! Fuzzy math: not good!

What Bush needs,America needs, and the buget needs, is what most goveners have, the LINE ITEM VETO. Let Bush and the Admin. cut all the pork in the budget, and require an up – down 2/3 vote to override. Once the pork is gone, our countries buget woes will be done.

Modern liberalism is an evil, vile scourge on society that must be rendered impotent. This ideology has proven to be a demonstrable failure and incredibly harmful when administered on the body politic. Deal with it, or beat it. You’re free to start your own blog with your own rules. WordPress charges nothing, and free seems to be a price that liberals can appreciate.

Finally, I had a happy childhood, so my worldview has NOT been “warped” by a lousy upbringing. Quite the contrary: I have been blessed, and my outlook has been molded accordingly. I won’t apologize for having grown up in a loving, middle-class family.
