Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Former MA guv wants to be NY guv or NY Senator

Former Massachussetts governor, Republican William Weld, has lived in NY since 2000. He’s a native of the state. He lived in MA for years, and served two terms as governor there.

Apparently, he’s interested in running for governor of NY, or possibly for the Senate against the Hildebeast, Hillary Clinton. Full story here.

You know, I just think it’s wrong! I mean, he was governor of a different state! You can’t just move to a state you haven’t lived in for years simply because you want a highly-public elected political job! Oh…wait! Hillary did just that, didn’t she?

Yeah…uh…well…that’s different! Right, libs?

  1. Didn’t Weld try to run for Gov. of Maryland in 2000, and lost because they called him a carpetbagger? Maybee I’m just confused. He was an excellent Gov in Mass. Since then Mass has had 2 other republicans in the Gov’s house. Maybee he should go back and run for the senate again against Teddy K instead. he almost took him out a couple of years ago.

Anyway I agree, the Republicans, unlike the Dems have lots of Hot Young Talent. However, they choose to think about running Weld in NY, and Keys (from Maryland) in Illinois. Come on. Let some of the youth with the fresh ideas into the game, before we become as old, tired and moldy as Teddy K, John F’n Kerry, Byrd, Harkin, Reid, Boxer, Feinstein, and the other decrepit libs.
