you know you can look forward to more cross culture collisions, the funny thing is that only in a country like the USA, can you have culture collision and still have the freedom of expression to hash it out and get down to the root of why other people think, believe and behave the way they do. You certainly would not even have the freedom to do so in a culture dominated by islam. That is what is great about america, you can celebrate the things that make you unique, and ignore the things you do not care for. I would not want to do, say believe or act the way others do, but I would fight like hell for my fellow americans right to do so even though I may disagree with them. Fundamentally it is also the one thing I cherish about christianity, it can only be received as an act of one’s own free-will choice, and even GOD himself can not take that away from you, can other religions claim the same freedom and individual liberty? That is why founders of american culture say give me liberty or give me death! How long will it take the rest of the world to learn that?

Far Left Liberals are just the intolerant self righteous hypocritical fools I thought they were!

They only insult Christians because we are peaceful and far too tolerant of the far left than they really deserve from us!

Personally I say we let the bigots voice their hatred they must be stupid if they think I don’t smell a rat and don’t know the definition of the word hypocrite!

I think they should be more sensitive and tolerant like the preach and demand from us Christians or shut up!
Personally I’d be happier if they’d just shut up!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: The reason Muslims are exempt from any ridicule or general mockery and Christians aren’t is because Christians:
A) Don’t cut people’s heads off for belonging to a different religion.
B) Don’t threaten cartoonists and their families if someone draws Jesus in an unflattering manner.
C) Are generally all-together passive.

Like you said Jon, Christians aren’t going to be blowing up any buildings anytime soon. Islam is a religion of “peace”, yet Christians are a bunch of “gay haters” and “crazy, environment-hating, baby-lovers?”. All these blanket terms and PC BS has seriously got to stop.

This is right up there with the great soccer ball fiasco (http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/?entry=26834&only&rss). I can’t quite figure out how it is that these people can be so oversensitive about anything pertaining to their religion. Are they really that thin-skinned? Or are they just looking for trouble… It’s hard to say sometimes.
