Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

BET gives props to Jena Six

“Yo, yo, yo!  I’d like to give a shout out to my homeys, the Jena 6.  Th’ Man is tryin’ to keep them down ‘cuz they put the beatdown on Whitey.  Wassup wit’ dat, dawg?”

BET invited two of the thugs who viciously assaulted a white kid to their celebrity-studded Hip Hop Awards show.  They got a standing ovation and were lionized for their “victimhood”!

Side thought: do you see any white American lionizing the student who got assaulted?  No!  Why?  Because he supposedly engaged in racist behavior that nearly all people (regardless of race) find appalling.  Why is it that so many times, the black community cannot properly condemn what any proper-thinking individual can plainly see is wrong?  The Jena 6 are not heroes.  They’re gangsters.  Period.

Fortunately, there has been much criticism from the black community, including himself.  However, as long as displays like this from BET continue to Bill Cosbyhappen, race relations will continue to deteriorate.

  1. The whole Jena 6 thing makes me sick.

These boys are criminals and the one, the Bell kid has been in trouble for sometime. Why the hell are they making them hero’s???? It’s vile.

  2. Exactly what would the reaction be to 6 white kids beating up a black kid? Hang the Honkey MFs. So I say hang the little bastards.

  3. That is why I can’t take charges of racial bigotry and animosity seriously anymore!
Blacks whether the individual in question is a victim or a perpetrator will stand by him or her!
So race trumps the right or wrongness of a black person’s actions!

I guess all the race relation efforts are for naught!
Equality means we are all held to the same social rules and legal statues!
I guess all the diversity and sensitivity claptrap is about special rights rather than equal rights!

I admit that blacks aren’t treated fairly under the law but it is another story to defend a known law breaker!
These people are doing more harm to blacks than the KKK could dream of!

  5. It doesn’t matter if blacks are treated fairly. They either want more than equailiy or they just use racism as an excuse for anything and everything. I think people are getting tired of it.
