How about some junk food science with your football?
As I’m perched on the couch watching the Sunday Night Football game between the Eagles and Cowboys, my expectations of halftime football analysis are shattered by Matt Liar…er, “Lauer”…peppering the football audience with global “warming” claptrap. Details and video (for those who can stomach it) are here.
It isn’t bad enough that NBC subjects its Sunday Night Football viewers with certified moonbat Keith Blabberman. Now they’ve got to hit us with global “warming” nonsense? I’ll TiVo Heroes and Journeyman, but I’m not watching a damned thing on NBC from now on.
One bright spot: at least a former Cowboys player (and now a Troofer), Mark Stepnowski, didn’t torture us with his paranoid 9/11 conspiracy theory. Getting one bit of propaganda was bad enough from NBC.

Here I thought they just sent Matt there to freeze his ass off. And then it wasnt really that cold only -12 on the segment I saw.

Thanks for snagging that video, I stole it with a hat tip to go with the article I wrote last night. I looked for something to properly illustrate the hypocrisy but was unable to find anything when I was writing. (Notice how all of the sponsor’s ads were still brightly lit?)

If NBC is serious about going green, then they should just do us all a favor and shut down the network.
The average football fan isn’t what I would consider the ideal target audience for that crap. These people are so out of touch it’s beyond absurd.

I guess we know why NBC is last of the prime time networks.
Good article and I agree Jon. Record Heroes and Journeyman and the heck with the rest of it.
Environmentalism is the new Hollyweirdo religion and it’s being forced down our throats via the MSM.
And a warning: The new movie being promoted “Compass”, with Nicole Kiddman, is an anti-Christian movie written by a prominent atheist.

This is the exact reason why my capitalist mind cannot rightly justify using “Green” as a marketing tool. It’s so slimy, so dishonest, so…hypocritical. Gee…Maybe the NBC execs should consider running for office?
