Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Shrillary, the principled

Here’s what Her Highness had to say about the nomination of Michael Mukasey to Attorney General:

“We cannot send a signal that the next attorney general in any way condones torture or believes that the president is unconstrained by law.”

Please stifle your laughter at this woman saying anything about “the president” and “the law”!

So how did the Hildebeast vote?  She voted “Nay”, right?  Wrong.  She didn’t even bother showing up to vote.  A man who, by her account, is a scoundrel who would condone torture must be met with a forceful vote of…”not present”!  And to think, such decisiveness aspires to lead this country!

Bubba: Opponents of criminal immigration are like Al Qaeda

When he’s not busy playing “The Humidor Game” with portly homely interns, Bill Clinton is busy tarring opponents of criminal immigration as bloodthirsty camelhumping jihadists hellbent on the destruction of America.  From Slate:

Did Bill Clinton really compare the opponents of “comprehensive” immigration reform to Al Qaeda? You make the call:

In Onawa, for instance, he mused on the world view that “says all that matters in life is our differences” — seeing it at work in everything from the dark philosophy of Al Qaeda to the U.S. immigration debate.

“The Al Qaeda people think that all that matter are our differences, and ‘You do it my way or you deserve to die,’” he said.

“You see it in more benign but also troubling ways in America when something happens like that recent incident in Jena, La.,” he said, referring to the prosecution of six young black men that has been criticized as racially motivated.

“You see it in very complicated ways in the context of what do to about immigration, what’s the best way to get a handle on illegal immigration,” he said.

I think he did! It’s a banal thought, too.

Well, shut my mouth and call me Sally!  Who knew that we had so many Americans who oppose amnesty “Al Qaeda” in the American electorate?

Jimmy the Dhimmi Carter kills sis-in-law’s cat

Jimmah likes his cats like he likes his Jews: dead.  Check out the letter (image and all) that he wrote to his sister-in-law after blasting her cat:

Lamentably, I killed your cat while trying just to sting it. It was crouched, as usual, under one of our bird feeders & I fired from some distance with bird shot. It may ease your grief somewhat to know that the cat was buried properly with a prayer & that I’ll be glad to get you another of your choice.

What a dumb#ss!  Birdshot is meant to kill birds from a distance, not “sting” them.  The idiot thought that a shotgun would have little to no effect on a cat?  Did he watch too many episodes of Tom and Jerry where Tom would get shot in the butt with buckshot and just howl in pain, with Jimmah thinking “Hey, that gives me an idea on how to deal with that pesky cat outside!”?  Dude, get a freakin’ water gun or garden hose and soak the little bugger…no need to kill it!

Folks, this is a real glimpse into the sheer level of inherent boneheadedness inside Carter’s gourd.  That would certainly help to explain the lack of thought that chronically plagued his administration.

Biden: Dems think you’re stupid

All that Greasy Joe Plagiarism is doing here is telling us what we already knew: Democrats think they’re smart and that the American people are stupid.  From the Andrew Cline:

Sen. Joe Biden said in an interview at the New Hampshire Union Leader this afternoon that too many Democrats, including the frontrunners for the presidential nomination, do not have faith in the American people.

“We’ve got to trust the American people more,” Biden said.

“I think they’ve really lost faith in the American people in terms of leveling with them,” he said of his leading rivals.

When he asks groups of Democrats if they think the American people are stupid because they elected George W. Bush twice, most respond that, yes, they do, he said. He said he thinks that attitude is a real problem for the Democrats, who fail to understand how smart and pragmatic the American people really are.

Sure, Biden is being a little bit disingenuous, since he has that same air of elitism that he accuses his liberal brethren of having.  However, he is still correct in his inference that liberals think Americans are stupid.  I guess that’s why they support Big Government the way they do: to keep us idjuts from hurting ourselves.

Dodd: Khalid Sheik Mohammed has “moral high ground” over America

Truly despicable, Sen. Waitress Sandwich.  Totally loathesome, indeed!  He posted this screed on the HuffPosties’ blog, which I shan’t link (since I normally don’t link to moonbat sites, if I can help it).  However, Hot Air has the link if you feel like checking it out.  Sen. Sandwich’s comments:

Compare that case [the Moussaoui trial] to the case of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who organized the attacks of 9/11. He was held in a secret prison, where he claims he was tortured severely. Whether he is lying or not, by our actions we have allowed Khalid Mohammed to claim the moral high ground. Khalid Mohammed plays martyr to a world that is inclined to believe it.

Bryan makes the following observations:

In a saner time, the following remark would not only end Sen. Chris Dodd’s run for the White House. It would also end his career in the US Senate.

There’s no evidence that KSM was “tortured severely.” He was waterboarded, once, and he talked. Like all al Qaeda terrorists, KSM was trained to claim torture if he was captured. As a senator who wants to be president, Dodd ought to take that terrorist training into account when assessing a terrorist mastermind’s claims. Jihadists like KSM are liars as well as killers. But Dodd and indeed nearly all other Democrats just take the terrorists at their word no matter what outlandish slanders they come up with. And at the same time, they never believe a word that comes out of any Republican’s mouth. It’s disgraceful.

But even if we had stripped KSM naked and paraded him through downtown Karachi on sandals made of steak knives, Khalid Sheik Mohammed cannot claim any moral high ground from anyone. He masterminded Operation Bojinka, which was intended to kill hundreds of innocent people who were doing nothing more than flying on airplanes. And KSM masterminded 9-11, the wanton killing of nearly 3,000 innocents in an unprovoked act of war on our country. Based on his long career as a terrorist bent on killing as many kuffirs as he can, Khalid Sheik Mohammed can’t claim the moral high ground from the devil himself, much less the United States of America. KSM is filth in human form. And Dodd is taking his side.

I realize that Dodd’s presidential campaign is stagnant, but this kind of appeal to the nutroots who run the Democrat Party is appalling.  In short, Dodd’s an #ssh0le.
