Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Iranian weirdbeard: Gays should be tortured, er, killed

Obviously, when Ahmanutjob said there were no gays in Iran, he was right: they kill gays in Iran.  Don’t be hatin’…they’re just listening to Allah.  From the UK’s Times:

Homosexuals deserve to be executed or tortured and possibly both, an Iranian leader told British MPs during a private meeting at a peace conference, The Times has learnt…

Minutes taken by an official describe a meeting between British and Iranian MPs at the Inter-Parliamentary Union, a peace body, in May. When the Britons raised the hangings of Asqari and Marhouni, the leader of the Iranian delegation, Mr Yahyavi, a member of his parliament’s energy committee, was unflinching. He “explained that according to Islam gays and lesbianism were not permitted”, the record states. “He said that if homosexual activity is in private there is no problem, but those in overt activity should be executed [he initially said tortured but changed it to executed]. He argued that homosexuality is against human nature and that humans are here to reproduce. Homosexuals do not reproduce.”

Before any of you try and retort with the lame yet predictable “Christianity says the same thing”, let me retort in advance: No, it does not!

The Bible is clear on homosexuality: it’s an abomination in the eyes of God.  But guess what?  So is heterosexual fornication, theft, lying, murder, coveting, and a whole slew of other things.  No one of those is any worse in the eyes of God than the other.  God does not incite us to commit an act of violence against those who engage in any of those sinful activities.

“Oh yeah?”, you ask, “what about Leviticus 20:13? It says ‘If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. ‘? That’s an incitement to murder if I’ve ever heard one!” Regardless of what that Democrat cretin Fred Phelps might say, any references in the Bible to “must be put to death” are speaking of spiritual death imposed by God (i.e. Hell), since obviously killing another human being would clearly contradict the “Thou shalt not kill” commandment.  Being an unrepentant limpwrist won’t get you to Hell any faster than being an unrepentant liar or thief. Judgment is His, not ours.

Don’t believe in God?  Not my problem.  Believe in God, but not the “thou shalt not be a pillowbiter” part?  Not my problem.  You want to be a polesmoker? Be my guest. But one thing you can’t ignore is that nowhere in the Bible does God command anyone to torture, kill, or harm gay people.  Period.  According to Iran, Islam cannot make that claim.

  1. God is giving homosexuals the same opportunity to repent as anyone else the thing is a lot of them don’t want to.
Gays who claim they are christian are living in rebellion to God’s authority or they deny that reality!

Don’t forget adultery and idolatry are things God’s word clearly condemns in addition to sodomy.

  2. You are exactly right. Torture and murder are not condoned for anyone. As I recall, there was a scene in the Bible where an adulterous woman was about to be stoned and Jesus told the crowd, “Whoever is without sin, let him cast the first stone.” Since Hillary wasn’t there, no stones were thrown.

The Iranian leader is clearly a psychopath and like all psycho’s the best way to deal with him is to…um… invite him to speak at our Ivy League Universities.

Sorry-went off topic there for a moment.

    Good post!

  4. Wow, this is surprising. I was positive that Islam was the religion of “peace and tolerance”. I’m certain I heard that on the news. I wonder if there is anything else they aren’t telling us…

Speaking of which, has anyone heard anything about Iraq lately in the news? I heard a rumor that the surge is working, but it hasn’t been reported to my knowledge.

Call for help against chain executions in Iran

For nearly three decades, the Mullahs have been doing all they could to arrest, imprison, torture and kill with impunity the home grown opposition in the most inhuman and savage fashion, and want the rest of the world to keep its nose out of their “family” business. In recent weeks the executions in Iran have skyrocketed again. The Mullahs are proven once again to be vicious mass killers.

To remain in power, the Mullahs and their apparatus rely on “preventive” measures. They don’t bother with due process of law or the value of human life. Their “revolutionary guards” dispense with the “due” and gets right to the “process.” On the slightest suspicion, they arrest, convict and execute. They expect ‘Allah’ in the next world to take the time to determine the person’s guilt or innocence.

We are told, by a reliable source within Iran that the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has given a confidential and tacit decree to execute publicly Iranian youth in all the towns and villages with a population that exceeds 1000 people. We believe the cause of these massive and rabid executions by the Islamic Republic is the immense fear of the regime for a sudden uprising of the Iranian people who oppose the regime and its barbaric treatment of the innocent Iranian people.

The Islamic Republic has summarily executed tens of thousands of Iranian dissidents. Their record speaks for itself. They had no qualms at sending thousands of children to clear the minefields ahead of their tanks during the 1980-88 war with Iraq; and they have thousands of “martyrs” brainwashed and prepared to serve as bomb mules to be dispatched to any place in the world. This new wave of executions by the Islamic regime in Iran is reminiscent of the 1988 massacre of Iranian political prisoners.

While we recognize the right of legitimate governments to bring to justice those suspected of serious crimes, we condemn with the strongest terms the death penalty imposed on Iranian dissidents in Iran.

We are organizing series of demonstrations to protest the recent executions by the Islamic regime in Iran and call for the freedom of the prisoners of conscience who are being held and tortured by the Islamic regime in Iran. We are asking the free people of the civilized world to join us in this noble act.

We think it is little more than an exercise in denial to believe that nothing bad will happen, and that the corrupt inept Mullahs will likely shoot themselves in the foot instead of wreaking havoc on the world. We keep pleading that we should forthwith help the Iranian democratic opposition and send the death-bearer Mullahs back to their mosques. It is the free world’s best and urgent option.
