The Bircheresque crank’s minions got a little visit from the feds in Indiana.  From CNN:

Federal agents raided the headquarters of a group that produces illegal currency and puts it in circulation, seizing gold, silver and two tons of copper coins featuring Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul.

Agents also took records, computers and froze the bank accounts at the “Liberty Dollar” headquarters during the Thursday raid, Bernard von NotHaus, founder of the National Organization for the Repeal of the Federal Reserve Act & Internal Revenue Code, said in a posting on the group’s Web site.

The raid comes eight months after von NotHaus filed a lawsuit in federal court in Evansville seeking a permanent injunction to stop the federal government from labeling the Liberty Dollar an illegal currency.

The U.S. Mint issued a warning this year that the Liberty Dollar violated the Constitution and warned consumers against using them unsuspectingly.

Paul’s campaign said it had not authorized production of the Ron Paul dollars.

I know, I know: just because this von Nuthouse guy is yet another example in a whole slew of examples of kooks, krazies, and miscreants attracted to RuPaul‘s campaign doesn’t mean that it’s a reflection on Paul in the slightest…right?

Gas sation owner kills rival owner over gas price cut

How absolutely tragic and shameful!  From Detroit (aka New Fallujah):

Detroit police say a war between two gas stations took a shocking and tragic turn with a station owner shooting his rival who was irate over a gas-price cut.

The shooting happened around 10:45 a.m. at the Marathon station near the corner of Springwells and Fort Street in southwest Detroit.

Investigators say the confrontation started when the owner of the BP station on that corner went to the Marathon station to discuss with its owner why he’d dropped the price for a gallon of unleaded gas to $2.93 per gallon, three cents less than BP.

The discussion quickly escalated into a fight with two more people from the BP station brawling with rivals at Marathon. One man was hit with a baseball bat in the melee. And then, police say, the 51-year-old owner of the Marathon station pulled out a gun and shot the owner of the BP, a 45-year-old father of five children. 

Here’s the “shameful” part:

In a wild post-script, it appears the BP station is taking advantage of the shooting. While police are still swarming the Marathon station, the BP has jacked up its prices. WXYZ’s Bill Proctor reports that as soon as the owner’s body was taken away, workers at BP changed the price-per-gallon of unleaded from $2.96 to $3.09.

“Hey, the boss man just got killed a couple of minutes ago! Whatsay we jack up our gas prices to take advantage of all the morbid publicity we’re about to get?”

I’m wondering how long it will take before the moonbats somehow blame this on Bush and his “illegal war for oil” or whatever.

Illegal aliens can’t get drivers licenses…in Mexico!

Holy frijoles, Batman!  Say it ain’t so!  From the Arizona Republic:

The question of whether to give driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants ignited a national debate in the United States. But in Mexico, the largest source of U.S. immigrants, there’s no question: Here, you must be a legal resident to get a driver’s license.

All of Mexico’s 31 states, along with Mexico City, require foreigners to present a valid visa if they want a driver’s license, according to a survey of states by The Arizona Republic.

“When it comes to foreigners, we’re a little more strict here,” said Alejandro Ruíz, director of education at the Mexican Automobile Association.

U.S. Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., planned to file a bill this week that would bar states from any future attempts to give licenses to illegal immigrants.

Mexico’s Foreign Relations Secretariat declined to comment on the controversy this week, but the Mexican government has fought U.S. restrictions on licenses in the past.

In 2004, the former Mexican consul in New York, Arturo Sarukhan, called such rules “a policy without a purpose” during a hearing in the New York State Assembly.

Sarukhan is now the Mexican ambassador in Washington.

Yet, licensing offices in all of Mexico’s 31 states, along with the Federal District, where Mexico City is located, said they require applicants to prove their citizenship, preferably by showing a federal voter-registration card issued by the Federal Elections Institute.

“The fact that all 31 states in Mexico would have such a common-sense position . . . shows to me a certain hypocrisy on the part of the Mexican government, because they are constantly criticizing those of us in Congress who want immigration laws to be tougher up here,” said King of New York. 

Word has it that Hillary is both for and against Mexico’s policy.

Pedophile sentenced to work…in kindergarten!

And to think the Hollyweirdos think we should emulate the Euros?  When they’re not passing the day urinating in a cup to draw tourists, Euros are busy with this:

A convicted pedophile sentenced to do community service in a German kindergarten will return to court next week to face charges of abusing two children there, a regional prosecutor’s office said Thursday.

The man was allowed to work as a janitor at the Evangelical Kindergarten St Petri in Melle, near the northern city of Osnabrueck, because a court worker missed three prior pedophilia convictions on his record, said Alexander Retemeyer, spokesman for the Osnabrueck prosecutor’s office.

The man, identified only as A.B., had been sentenced to 720 hours of community service earlier this year for working on the sly while collecting welfare payments.

“The colleague didn’t pay attention and didn’t see he had a sexual conviction, so she allowed him to serve in a kindergarten,” Retemeyer said. “She didn’t read the file.”

The prior convictions date from 1988-1990, when the man was living in the former East Germany, Retemeyer said. Though the convictions are listed in the man’s criminal record, the details are unclear because prosecutors cannot access his East German police file.

Police arrested the man in April after the head of the kindergarten reported he had fondled himself in front of two children.

Posters have gone up on billboards in Antwerp, Brussels, Liege and Ghent to promote the new high-speed train connection to London.

The company says the advert is great for British tourism.

“It’s fun, it’s supposed to show how cosmopolitan London is. Yes, I really think it says London is cosmopolitan,” insisted a spokeswoman for Eurostar.

Lesley Retallack added: “You could walk down Camden market and you can see someone like that. (The Euros think THAT is a selling point? Hell, you can see that in our country, too, except that the cretin would get arrested if he was caught doing it. We’re funny that way. – Ed.)

“It just captures your imagination, stops you, makes you think. People get it.”

I have to admit that I was a little ambivalent as to whether I really wanted to go check out Londonistan.  But after seeing this, just how am I supposed to say “No”?

Euros…go figure.

Blitzer heeds Clinton mafia’s warning

Wolf was instructed to wear kid gloves during the Dem debate in Vegas, and like a good lap dog for the Clinton News Network, he did just that.

CNN debate moderator Wolf Blitzer did an ‘outstanding’ job in Vegas, a senior adviser to the Hillary campaign said early Friday. ‘He was outstanding, and did not gang up like Russert did in Philadelphia. He avoided the personal attacks, remained professional and ran the best debate so far. Voters were the big winners last night.’

A rival campaign insider charges: ‘Wolf turned into a lamb. No follow-up question on Clinton’s huge flip on drivers licenses?’ 

Nope…no liberal media bias!

Anti-war moonbats use their own kids as human shields

They clearly don’t support the troops, but shouldn’t we at least expect them to support their own children?  Nope.

…After the military convoy was forced to retreat, a victory celebration ensued, with chanting dancing, etc. I was horrified to watch as the woman in the attached photograph, distracted by events, allowed her infant to fall from her lap and land, face first on the pavement. The second photo shows her retrieving the crying baby as her other two children, dressed as terrorists look on. 

Now they’re emulating tactics used by Islamic terrorists!  These vermin are nothing short of human garbage.
