Jon I agree that I don’t think McCain will get the nomination either. BUT if he does, then I’m afraid I’d rather see Shrillary defeat the Republican party instead of McCain defeating the Republican party. Everybody know that McCain is a RINO. I’m still hoping that Fred will get more people to listen to what he’s saying before convention time.

I’m still unsure who to vote for in the primary. They all suck! But if Rudy can some how win in Florida, and take a couple of others on Super Tuesday, The Republican nomination could go unsettled to the Convention. How exciting could that be?!

Excellent question, Steve. I don’t think McCain will get the nomination, but of course, I could be wrong. If he does, I have one of three choices:

1. Hold my nose and vote for him anyway.
2. Vote for a third-party or write-in candidate.
3. Not vote for president (but vote on the rest of the ballot).

I’ll be honest with you: I don’t know yet which of those three I would choose. I’d first have to see how the general election’s campaign would unfold.

I know your not a Republican, but what will you do if the Republicans do nominate McCain against Obama, Edwards or Clinton? It could happen.

I believe McCain deserves our respect; but deserving our vote is an entirely different matter. He must earn votes, not deserve them predicated upon being a POW. If his platform does not resonate well, his history will not get him into office (at least not the White House).
