Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Not gonna vote if McCain gets nomination?

One thing I’ve been clear on is that if Juan McAmnesty gets the GOP nomination, I will still go to the polls and vote, even though I’m not positive I’ll vote for him.  If you’re thinking about boycotting the polls with McCain as the Republican nominee, Ace asks you to consider the ramifications:

If you really are serious about sitting out the Presidential election if McCain gets the nomination, that is one thing. But consider the down ticket consequences if you don’t even show up. Senate, Congressional and other key races may be impacted.

One example comes from Minnesota, where this poll now has Al Franken leading Norm Coleman. Now, the poll oversampled Democrats, where 52% of those sampled were Dems, but this should be a wake up call.

Senator. Al. F##king. Franken.

Think about that the next time you say you’ll be golfing in Election Day.

Stewart Smalley wants to bodyslam his way into the Senate, and those MN moonbats are leaning towards putting him there.  Wow…just “wow”!

  2. While I would so rather have Romney (or even Huckabee) over McCain, and despite all that I dislike about McCain, unless some extremely strong conservative/libertarian appears out of nowhere and runs as an independent, I’m definitely making sure to get out and vote for McCain – McCain would still be 5000 times better than Hillary, and about 10000 times better than the big O. My rallying cry would not be one of support for McCain, so much as “stop Billary or O from getting elected.”

But yeah, regardless of whether or not one chooses to participate in the presidential process, people still need to get out and support the better candidates for local, state and congressional offices – not to mention voting for or against any propositions/measures that may pop up on ones particular ballot.

  3. The plain and simple truth is that a no-vote is a vote for Clinton or Obama. A vote for a third party is a vote for Clinton or Obama. If it be McCain (shudder), then so be it.

  4. I noticed on another blog someone said that getting McDem in could be the death of the repub party since when, how often and how bad he screws up will be attached and attacked by the MSM to the repubs not the dems which is what he really is.

  5. The biggest problem I have with Juan McCainez is his desire to immediately legalize over 30 million illegals … who, will instantly become eligible for even more entitlements than they’re getting now. We can all harp how bad it would be if the dems won, but geez … I just can’t vote for some guy who is hell bent on destroying the culture of his country. We resemble Rome just before it’s fall in so many ways.
