Hillary campaign broke? Nope…it’s a lie

Good grief, these jerks never learn!  That whole story about Her Highness having to loan her campaign $5 million and her staffers going without pay was, as is usually the case with a Clinton, an outright brazen lie.  From ABC News:

So it turns out the Clinton campaign may not be so cash-strapped after all — at least not at this very moment.

After offering on Wednesday to go without paychecks to help save precious campaign resources, senior staff members on Hillary Clinton’s campaign are in fact not going without pay during the month of February, ABC News has learned.

“It’s not happening,” said a source familiar with the situation.

Clinton’s campaign has been shouting from the rooftops all day about its online fundraising efforts since Super Tuesday.

The campaign announced today that it raised more than four million dollars online in the 24 hours after polls closed on Tuesday — the biggest single haul in one day ever for the campaign.

One longtime Democratic consultant not affiliated with any campaign wondered if perhaps the whole thing wasn’t a big stunt to garner media attention and look like an “underdog.”

“I’d take this revelation as a sign that they planned this whole thing,” the consultant said. (Ya think??? – Ed.)

How about we nominate a new Hildebeast 2008 campaign slogan?  Perhaps “Lies and Cries: Hill ’08″?

Canuck “scientist”: Imprison global “warming” skeptical politicians

Yeah, let’s mimic the Canadians, especially the former director of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association who apparently didn’t feel that strongly about civil liberties.  From Canuckistan:

David Suzuki has called for political leaders to be thrown in jail for ignoring the science behind climate change.

At a Montreal conference last Thursday, the prominent scientist, broadcaster and Order of Canada recipient exhorted a packed house of 600 to hold politicians legally accountable for what he called an intergenerational crime. Though a spokesman said yesterday the call for imprisonment was not meant to be taken literally, Dr. Suzuki reportedly made similar remarks in an address at the University of Toronto last month.

Of course he was only kidding!  That would explain why he’s kidded the exact same way before, n’est-ce pas?

“Jena Six” member in trouble with the law…again

Think back to the “Jena Six” incident last year, in which the black community hailed as heroes  six black thugs who beat up a white kid.  My prior posts on the issue are here, if you need a quick refresher.  Anywho, I was appalled at how these thugs were viewed as honorable and innocent victims of Whitey.  Hell, BET even had these thugs on one of their awards shows!

Well, as luck would have it, one of the “Jena Six” just got arrested in his new town, proving once again that while you can take the thug out of the ‘hood, you can’t take the ‘hood out of the thug.  From The Smoking Gun:

One of the “Jena Six” defendants was arrested yesterday for allegedly assaulting a fellow student at a Texas high school. Bryant Purvis, 19, was busted on the misdemeanor charge following an 8:30 AM altercation at Hebron High School in Carrollton, where his family relocated from Louisiana. According to the below arrest warrant affidavit, Purvis assaulted a male student he apparently suspected of vandalizing his auto. Along with choking the 18-year-old victim, the 6′ 6″ Purvis allegedly slammed the teenager’s head on a table. Purvis, pictured in the mug shot at right, was briefly jailed before being released on $1000 bond. Purvis and five codefendants were originally charged with attempted murder in connection with the December 2006 beating of a white high school student in Jena, Louisiana. The case, which triggered protests over the severity of charges brought against the so-called Jena Six, remains pending, with Purvis scheduled for a March trial on reduced charges of aggravated battery and conspiracy. If convicted of those felonies, Purvis could face a maximum of more than 20 years in prison.

Smile, you “Jena Six” defenders…you just got pwned for your naivete!
