San Franistan: Bring me your poor, your tired, your criminal masses
When they’re not busy telling our military that they’re unnecessary, San Fransicko is publicizing to the criminal alien population: Come to our town! We don’t need any stinking laws here! From the S.F. Examiner:
San Francisco’s “sanctuary” policy for illegal immigrants, which has drawn sharp criticism from conservatives, will be promoted in an advertisement campaign complete with multilanguage brochures and radio and TV public service announcements.
The city-funded outreach campaign is expected to roll out this spring and build on San Francisco’s response to last year’s federal immigration raids, which city officials said scared undocumented immigrants into not accessing city services, reporting crimes or sending children to school.
City officials Wednesday were not able to provide The Examiner with a cost breakdown for the campaign.
“We have worked with the Board of Supervisors, Department of Public Health, labor and immigrant rights groups to create a city government-wide public awareness campaign so that immigrants know The City won’t target them for using city services,” said Nathan Ballard, Mayor Gavin Newsom’s spokesman.
City officials there just can’t seem to bring themselves to use the word “illegal”, can they?
Can we please allow these sickos to secede from the union already?

OK, so if I get that straight (no pun intended), the taxpayers of San Fran are paying for an ad campaign to assure non-taxpaying lawbreakers safety to utilize other taxpayer-funded services. I might be inclined to suggest to conservatives in San Fran to revolt, but 3 people wouldn’t get many headlines – unless they’re war protesting.

These people kind of make you wish that the next big earthquake will knock San Franistan right into the sea and they can just float away like a drowning pink polar bear on a melting ice cap….

Every city in America should pony up bus fare for any illegals who feel deprived of social services and ship them to San Fran. It’s a win-win deal for everybody.

San Francisco is laying off teachers because of a lack of funding, but they have the money to piss away on some program advertising that illegal immigrants have reached a ‘sanctuary city?’
While I don’t want to live in a society where we’re asked “Papers please?” wherever we go, I also don’t want to see what we’re allowed to have of our culture (after the ‘diversity training’ classes/etc) overrun by half of Guatamala and Mexico. (Hey, we don’t have an illegal Canadian problem, after all.)
I am often ashamed to say that I was born in California. My mother was on the San Francisco PD for many years and she has also retired and moved away, ashamed of what the city has turned into. Doing nothing to curb the flow of illegals basically tells them “Go ahead, bring your gangs here, stake out your turf, and don’t bother trying to become a citizen.”
It’s shameful.

I don’t think anyone advocates that, much as the left tries to characterize it as such. However, if you want taxpayer-funded social services, a driver’s liscense, a job, a house/apartment, a bank account or a credit card, you should at least provide documentation that proves you’re a legal citizen.
