Hillary’s habit of burying documents

From Neal Boortz:

We touched on this yesterday, and I’m told that we’ve received a mess-o-emails asking me to put something about it on the Nuze today. Ok .. so here we go with the abbreviated version of Hillary’s shenanigans when she was working for the House Judiciary Committee during the Nixon impeachment mess. If you want the full story click here to read the column by Dan Calabrese.

  • Hillary Rodham gets a spot on the legal staff of the House Judiciary Committee upon the recommendation of a lawyer pal of Ted Kennedy.
  • The man who hires Hillary is Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat.
  • The House Judiciary Committee is investigating Richard Nixon with an eye on impeachment.
  • A question arises as to whether or not Nixon is legally entitled to counsel during the investigation. If so, his council would be allowed to cross examine witnesses appearing before the panel.
  • The concern about having counsel for Nixon cross examine witnesses centered on E. Howard Hunt. Democrats on the committee feared that Nixon’s counsel would elicit information from Hunt that would be very damaging to the Kennedys.
  • Zeifman tells Hillary that Nixon is entitled to counsel. He cites documents in the committee’s public file referencing the fact that Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas had representation four years earlier while he was being investigated.
  • Hillary removes the documents from the committees public file and places them under lock and key in her office where they are not available for media or public scrutiny.
  • Hillary then prepares a brief for filing with a federal judge which falsely states that there is no precedent for an official being investigated by the committee to have legal representation during that investigation.
  • Nixon resigns before Hillary has a chance to submit the brief in which she makes knowingly false claims.
  • Zeifman then fires Hillary. Hillary asks for a letter of recommendation. Zeifman says no. This was only the third time in Zeifman’s 17 years with the committee that he had refused a letter of recommendation.

Zeifman told Dan Calabrese that if Hillary had actually submitted the brief she most likely would have been disbarred. We’re trying to arrange for Jerry Zeifman to be a guest on the show today.

So .. all you Hillary fans out there. Here we have your hero once again hiding documents that could be damaging to her cause (Rose Law Firm billing records, Vince Foster’s files) and then committing an unethical act in preparing a brief on a point of law she knew to be false. And you want this lady to be our president?

Oh … and why haven’t we heard about this before? It seems to me that the media would be interested in this level of dishonesty and unethical behavior by Hillary Clinton.

Exit question:  How come nothing like this ever came up when she was First B#tch?

Toys R Us trying to turn little girls into sluts

For those who haven’t heard the term before, a “tramp stamp” is a tattoo that females put at the base of their back (just above their butt).  Well, in some news that will get Scott Ritter excited, his favorite pick-up place Toys R Us is trying to get in on the fad.  From Consumerist.com:

Got a trampy little kid that isn’t quite ready to get inked? No problem. Toys “R” Us has lower-back tattoo stickers for little miss thing.

We like how they’re right next to the Hannah Montana and Minnie Mouse stickers.

Nothing says “I’m proud of my little girl” quite like getting her a “tramp stamp” at age 7, right?  No word on when Toys R Us will be selling the Barbie Pole Dance Kit or Dora the Explorer Presidential Intern Kneepads.

Autism Awareness Month

April is Autism Awareness Month.  I have autism in my family, and as a result, I do my part to help find a cure.  As such, consider this a public service announcement.

Instead of using Google (a company that does evil despite their motto to the contrary), consider using Goodsearch.  Goodsearch is powered by Yahoo, and every search you make generates money for your selected charity.  I have selected the Autism Solution Center of Cordova.  Every search I make results in a donation to the Autism Solution Center.  Even if you don’t pick them, consider using Goodsearch to donate to a charity of your liking.

Autism strikes 1 out of 150 kids born today.  Great strides have been made, but there is so much more to do in order to find a cure for it.  Autism doesn’t care what race, gender, income level, religion, or political persuasion the parents may possess.  Please consider donating time or money to organizations like the Autism Society of America or Autism Speaks.  Thank you for indulging me this message.

Moonbats get defensive over…Obama’s bowling performance?

Media Morons…’nuff said.  From Ace:

Obama Sucks at Bowling = Homophobic, Most Likely Racist

This is a silly little story that gets some chuckles — Obama bowling a 37.

But what makes it truly hilarious is Media Matters’ making a major issue out of Joe Scarborough commenting that this didn’t show off Obama’s “human side” so much as his “prissy side,” and then playing Internet Detective Par Excellence to demonstrate the “Big Lie” of this story being put forward by the “Right Wing Noise Machine.”

To wit:

Obama did not bowl a full ten frames to post that awesome score of 37, but rather only bowled SEVEN frames.

Ah. I see.

Perhaps this is their idea of an April Fools Day prank? Pretending that this is such an outrage, and then “fact-checking” the media to show that Obama only bowled a mere 70% of a complete game to put up that rockin’ number?

Dude, I am not a good bowler at all.  The best game I ever had was a 163.  But man, even the worst game I ever had (when I was “three sheets to the wind” plastered) was a 70!  And the best that Media Morons can come up with is “Yeah, well he would have bowled a 55 if you would have let the man finish!”?  I’m teasing Barry O just a tad for his bowling game (which is, of course, irrelevant), but the bulk of my mockery is reserved for the Media Morons moonbats.

Government school gives passing grade for Satanic artwork, “F” for Christian artwork

The pictures are available here at Michelle Malkin’s blog.  Here’s the story:

Alliance Defense Fund attorneys filed a federal lawsuit Friday against the Tomah Area School District over an unconstitutional policy that bars religious free speech. Citing a policy prohibiting depictions of “blood, violence, sexual connotations, [or] religious beliefs,” officials penalized a Christian student for his artwork depicting a Bible verse and a cross but did not penalize students who included demonic illustrations in their artwork.

“Christian students shouldn’t be penalized for expressing their beliefs. It is unconstitutional for the school to punish students simply because they choose to exercise their First Amendment rights,” said ADF Senior Legal Counsel David Cortman. “Further, teachers are not permitted to censor Christian religious expression in artwork while at the same time allowing other types of religious depictions.”

A student at Tomah High School drew a landscape picture for an art class containing a road, clouds, and mountains with a cross in the background and the words “JOHN 3:16 – A sign of love” written in the sky. The teacher of the class told the student to either remove the scriptural reference or cover it up with a border.

The teacher cited a document that the student and all other students in the class had been required to sign at the beginning of the semester which prevented them from creating artwork with the prohibited depictions. After the teacher said that the student had “signed away his First Amendment rights,” the student respectfully protested by tearing the signed document in half.

“The student was correct. A public school cannot require students to sign away their constitutional right to free speech and religious expression,” Cortman explained. “Furthermore, other students created artwork in violation of this illegitimate policy, but no action was taken against them. Only our client was singled out.”

The teacher gave the student a grade of zero for the assignment. The student also received two detentions.

Political correctness isn’t going down without a fight, is it?

Obama a shill for oil companies?

Capt. Ed shines the light of truth in Osamabama’s face:

Barack Obama has started getting some major-league vetting from the media, and so far he looks like a AAA prospect brought up a season or two too early. After releasing a TV ad saying that he doesn’t take money from the oil industry, ABC News calls shenanigans. Jake Tapper notes that Factcheck did what its name implies, and like Jed Clampett, found some bubblin’ crude in Obama’s neighborhood:

When my family back in Pennsylvania turns on the TV these days, they may see this Barack Obama TV ad where he’s standing in a gas station saying the following:

“Since the gas lines of the ’70s, Democrats and Republicans have talked about energy independence, but nothing’s changed — except now Exxon’s making $40 billion a year, and we’re paying $3.50 for gas.

I’m Barack Obama. I don’t take money from oil companies or Washington lobbyists, and I won’t let them block change anymore. They’ll pay a penalty on windfall profits. We’ll invest in alternative energy, create jobs and free ourselves from foreign oil. I approve this message because it’s time that Washington worked for you. Not them.”

Factcheck.org today takes a look at Obama’s claim to not take money from oil companies and concludes that the statement “misleading” since according to the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics Obama has taken more than $213,000 from individuals (and their spouses) who work for companies in the oil and gas industry — not to mention that two of Obama’s top fundraisers are top executives at oil companies”.

And as Tapper points out, nobody takes money from oil companies, or any other kind of corporations, because it’s illegal to do so. At best, Obama issued a deceptive non-sequitur, and at worst, flat-out lied about his funding. Shall we now get into a debate over the word “companies”, akin to Bill Clinton’s parsing of the word “is”?

Barry O’s “New Politics” sure bears a striking resemblance to the “Old Politics” to which we’re accustomed, n’est-ce pas?

CBS News layoffs

Hey, those forged documents aren’t going to write themselves!  From See B.S.!:

CBS (NYSE: CBS), reeling from disappointing earning in the last quarter has done some layoffs, at the corporate level, and separate from that, at some local O&O stations. On corporate level, TVNewser reports that CBS News has made cuts in to editorial, technical operations and the bureaus. The total cuts amount to 1 percent of the staff, the post says.

Dan Rather was unavailable for comment.  Actually, that’s not true…he’s unemployed these days, so he is available for comment!
