If you can’t get the facts right, how are we supposed to believe what you’re saying? Facts have never been a requirement for a Democrat to spew idiocy. What happened when they [the missiles] get to the ground? He doesn’t know. You have to care about the lives of people. Gee, I hope McCain gets elected so he can show Rockefeller how much he "cares" about the terrorists we're dropping bombs on.

As a former Weapons Loader… air to ground munitions are typically called bombs. So it would be a laser guided bomb. Missiles are normally fired at air targets. The main difference between a rocket and a missile is that a rocket is unguided.

According to Wiki, laser guided bombs didn’t enter Vietnam until 1968 and McCain was shot down late in 1967. So, Mr. Rockefeller has his ‘facts’ wrong. If you can’t get the facts right, how are we supposed to believe what you’re saying?

I’m pretty sure that laser guided missiles were just getting on the drawing board during the Vietnam War. McCain was flying an A-4, an attack aircraft used mainly for support of ground troops and he was dropping dumb bombs on a power plant in Hanoi when he was shot down by a SAM.

Ol’ Rocky is one of those folks born with a silver spoon up his ass and with precious little knowledge of how and what happens in the real world. West Virginia should be ashamed of him but, after all it is West Virginia. (Robert Byrd ring any bells?)
