Ummm… it’s called a “horn”. It’s usually activated by a little button near the middle of the steering wheel. It works well, assuming the driver notices the guy with the red-tipped cane and german shepherd, and isn’t too busy putting on makeup, text-messaging, and drinking a latte simultaneously.

Have you ever noticed that they put Braille on the drive-up atm machines? When I asked my blind friend the reasoning for this, she said that she had no idea they had Braille on them.

Reminds me of an old Arsenio Hall bit.

There’s a sign on a California Freeway that says, “This exit – Braille Institute.” Who the **** are these signs for? One day I expect to drive by and find all these blind blues singers wandering all over the road…

Just listen for the squishy thunk and if you hear it, go ahead and cross, they got somebody else! What are they going to do put Blind Whistles (like deer whistles) on these things so EVERYONE hears this annoying whistle ALL the time?
