Global “warming” almost rendered mankind extinct
About 70,000 years ago, that is. Pre-Hummers, pre-factories, pre-Al Gore’s jumbo jet and energy hog of a mansion, etc. From the AP:
Human beings may have had a brush with extinction 70,000 years ago, an extensive genetic study suggests. The human population at that time was reduced to small isolated groups in Africa, apparently because of drought, according to an analysis released ThursdayThe report notes that a separate study by researchers at Stanford University estimated the number of early humans may have shrunk as low as 2,000 before numbers began to expand again in the early Stone Age.
… Paleontologist Meave Leakey, a Genographic adviser, commented: “Who would have thought that as recently as 70,000 years ago, extremes of climate had reduced our population to such small numbers that we were on the very edge of extinction.”
Who, indeed! You mean that “climate change” has actually been cyclical in the past? Why, that’s just crazy talk! For those of you on the left, the prior two sentences were examples of sarcasm.

Isn’t this interesting. Since there have been NO discoveries or evidence of human existence beyond 10,000 years, one my say the scientists at Stanford and the Associated Press have taken a giant leap of faith to conclude Global Warming existed 70,000 years prior. One might also say Global Warming is another facet of the humanist religion of evolution. Perhaps that’s why ‘Global Warmests’ become so offended and confrontational when challenged; one is challenging their faith.
Hmmm, I’ll noodle that further.

I’ll bet it’s all those big SUVs humans were driving 70,000 years ago.
All the global warming claims are really very funny.
I just started a website devoted to the most outrageous, funny and downright silly stories of global warming/climate change.
Please take a look:

Even if Global Warming Hoax was true – that is, if science could actually show that our global temperature is on the rise – one might consider the notion that we can do anything about it to be foolhardy. Unless, that is, someone has figured out how to control the output of the sun. I’m pretty sure we can’t do that. I’m also pretty sure we don’t want to do that.
The premise behind green activism is, in of itself, a patently ridiculous notion. Let’s take a snapshot of nature and then try to prevent nature from evolution. The Chilean Fruit Bat is in danger of extinction! We MUST stop that! Why? Perhaps the extinction of this species spawns the evolution of another – one that might currently be the prey of said bat.
