Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

MSNBC throws shameless global “warming” faux pas down the memory hole

Just yesterday, I mentioned MSNBC’s shill piece for global “warming” showing penguins stranded on melted ice in the North Pole…which is impossible, since penguins live at the South Pole.  Well, the comment left by A.C. suggested that MSNBC edited out the penguins.  As it turns out, A.C. is correct.

Nothing to see here, move along, and nope…no liberal media bias!

CNN: Our viewers direct the news, we don’t

From Ace:

Funny how the networks are quick to accede to the political desires of liberals, without worrying too much about “pandering” or subcontracting their own highly-trained sense of news-value to the lay public, so long as that lay public can be used as a pretext to do what what the liberals in the newsroom want to do anyway.

Imagine if FoxNews announced “We’re going to have Wright updates every half hour, because that’s what our viewers want.”

I imagine they’d be castigated for deferring to their bitter, gun-clinging audiences’ wishes.

Because CNN has a better audience, of course. It’s liberal, and, as such, can be trusted to help make the big news-judgment decisions.

Because ultimately it’s not a J-school credential that empowers one to decide what should and should not be in the national debate — it’s an adherence to the liberal political philosophy. …

Nope…no liberal media bias!

Obama a magnet for commies

Nice Deb has a comprehensive roundup of all of the reds who endorse/support the Obamessiah.  But I’m sure it’s all a big coinkidink.

Night and Day

McAmnesty then:

TIM RUSSERT: If the Senate passed your bill, S-1433, the McCain-Kennedy immigration bill, would you as president sign it?

JOHN MCCAIN: Yeah, but the lesson is that it isn’t going to come, it isn’t going to come. The lesson is they want the borders secured first.

McAmnesty now:

“Unless we enact comprehensive immigration reform I don’t think you can take it piecemeal,” he explained Monday, answering a question about providing visas for skilled workers.

“In other words,” he said, “because as soon you and I start to talk about the highly skilled workers, our agricultural interest people are going to say, ‘Look we need ag workers, too.’ And then somebody’s going say, ‘We need the DREAM Act,’ and then somebody’s going to say, ‘We’ve got to enforce our border.’”

“We get in this kind of a circular firing squad on immigration reform in the Congress of the United States,” McCain said, “and the lesson I learned from it is we’ve got to have comprehensive immigration reform.”

Seriously, this is the best the GOP could come up with?

Obama’s “bitter” supporters

This was seen at an Obama rally, so go ahead and feel free to question their patriotism (via MKH):

Polls, schmolls: Osamabama has it locked up

Her Highness swears she’s going to battle all the way to the convention, but it’s just a formality.  After proving the polls wrong in NC (which had shown the Obamessiah’s once-huge lead evaporated) and in IN (which had shown the Hildebeast with a 5+% lead), Barry O has the nomination all but locked up.  How so?

Well, for starters, Hilldawg needed to keep close in NC and win big in IN to show the party faithful that momentum was on her side.  That didn’t happen.  Also, with popular vote totals figured in after last night, the Hillster can’t appeal to that argument.  The party isn’t going to have its superdelegates ignore the popular vote and delegate vote leads that Snob-ama has now.

Alas, Hilarity…we hardly knew ye!  :D
