McClellan’s book tied to George Soros?
On a tip from KG, I searched for the connection between George Soros and the publishing of Scott McClellan’s new book.
Bingo. Looks like Rove was on to something when he said that Scotty Mac sounded like a moonbat blogger. I’m sure it’s just a big coinkidink, right?
Scotty Mac says he has a “higher loyalty”, and that is a “loyalty to the truth.” It looks more like loyalty to Soros’ big bucks.
Obama’s supporters working hard to get that cop vote
Nothing says “we appreciate our police officers’ sacrifice” quite like desecrating a memorial honoring fallen police officers by setting up port-a-potties on top of said memorial.
Portland police officers have asked for an apology after they said organizers of a Barack Obama rally set up Porta-Potties on a memorial honoring fallen officers.
…
After several days, Brennan attached a photo he took to a letter and e-mailed it to dozens of media outlets and the Obama campaign.Brennan said officers haven’t heard back from the Obama campaign. He said someone owes an apology to the families of the fallen officers.
“Not for a moment do I think that Mr. Obama had anything to do with this,” Brennan said. “But somebody at his campaign at a local level made the decision to put them there. And I just want an acknowledgement: ‘Hey, we made a mistake.’”
A representative with the Obama campaign responded Wednesday morning and said the Porta-Potties were placed at the memorial because of a safety issue for wheelchair access. …
Oh, well. Maybe Barry O can apologize to the fallen heroes he sees in attendance.
Obama fails again to understand Iran situation
From Barry O’s web site:
“We have not exhausted our non-military options in confronting the Iranian threat; in many ways, we have yet to try them. Obama is the only major candidate who supports tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions. Now is the time to pressure Iran directly to change their troubling behavior. Obama would offer the Iranian regime a choice. If Iran abandons its nuclear program and support for terrorism, we will offer incentives like membership in the World Trade Organization.“
Hey, what a great idea! Let’s offer Ahmanutjob membership into the WTO, an organization that is held in such esteem in Iran:
“Perhaps Mr. Obama is unaware that one of Mr. Ahmadinejad’s first acts was to freeze Tehran’s efforts for securing WTO membership because he regards the outfit as ‘a nest of conspiracies by Zionists and Americans.’”
D’oh! Obama is such a friggin’ lightweight.
Liberals: gay adoption cool, transracial adoption uncool
The poison that festers in these fools’ minds is toxic to America’s soul. I’ve said numerous times that political correctness is lethal to America, and by God (insert politically correct deity here), these morons are proving me right. Here’s the narrative:
In a New York Times editorial responding to the Florida decision, Dan Savage, an author, syndicated columnist, and adoptive father, wrote, “The real choice for children waiting to be adopted in Florida and elsewhere isn’t between gay and straight parents, but between parents and no parents.”
By prohibiting gay and lesbian people from adopting, there are unquestionably fewer potential adoptive homes for children. “If people are going to hold a narrow opinion of who can adopt,” [Human Rights Campaign official Lisa] Bennett says, “they are sentencing some children to a life without a loving home.”
…and transracial adoptions are bad.
Minority children in foster care are being ill-served by a federal law that plays down race and culture in adoptions, a report released on Tuesday said.
The report, based on an examination of the law’s impact over a decade, said that minority children adopted into white households face special challenges and that white parents need preparation and training for what might lie ahead. (Because apparently, kids with gay parents will not need to be prepared for “what might lie ahead”, right? – Ed.)
To summarize: “Sentencing some children to a life without a loving home” is only possible if both parents are queer, but not possible if the parents are of a different ethnicity. Got it?
Just me mentioning this makes me politically incorrect…a badge of honor I wear proudly!
Dem defaulted on THREE home loans…while loaning her campaign $77.5k
The most ethical Congress evah! From Michelle Malkin:
Here’s another installment in the deadbeat Dem/defaulting Hillary superdelegate chronicles of Congresswoman Laura Richardson (D-Calif.) in case you missed it over the holiday weekend. It’s getting smellier and smellier. Turns out she has defaulted on not one, but three home loans–yet somehow managed to loan her election campaign $77,500. In fact, it appears there is a pattern here of cashing out her homes to fill her campaign coffers. But there has been no uproar in Congress over this lawmaker’s appalling behavior. Why? Because it would upset the bipartisan narrative that all homeowners are victims, all lenders are sharks, and that no bad incentives to walk away exist.
Quick refresher: On May 21, we learned that Richardson had bailed on a Sacramento home and walked away from her $535,000 mortgage on the property. She denied the charges. On May 22, evidence piled up that contradicted her denial; moreover, we learned that she didn’t bother to pay utility fees and property taxes on the house. On top of that, the Daily Breeze confirmed that she did, in fact, receive a per diem housing allowance from the California state government. This woman has the gall to fashion herself a spokeswoman on behalf of aggrieved homeowners and wants to testify in front of the Senate while she swims in debt…
But Andrew thinks people like her should be bailed out at productive American taxpayers’ expense. I guess me pointing this out makes me an “evil, heartless, uncaring b#stard”, right? Yeah, I’ll get right to work on caring about that!
This is why you should just keep on “feeling”, Andy Boy, and just leave the governing thingy to us grown-ups.
Video clip of the day
Over at Hot Air, where McCain basically asks Obama why he would meet with Iran but not with Gen. Petraeus. Ouch!
Obama against a trip to Iraq…before he wasn’t
The Obamessiah’s flip-flopping continues.
John McCain challenged Barry O to go to Iraq with him. The Obamessiah said “Nope“, on account of it being a “political stunt” and all. Well, the O-Man has had a Kerryesque change of heart, and now may go. Solo, of course. Because going to Iraq by yourself during a presidential campaign is NOT a “political stunt”, right?
