Michelle Obama: Fear is why America sucks
It’s obvious to anyone with a functioning brain cell that Shelly O really thinks America is a lousy place. Her latest salvo against my country:
Fear is the reason this country is where it is today.
Really? We’re the greatest country on the face of the planet and in the history of the planet because of…fear? Wow…just “wow”!

The only thing we should fear is having her and Hussein in our White House!
Comment by Kanaka Girl | May 30, 2008
Sing it loud and proud, sistah! Let the whole world know how you and Ballsack really feel.
Juan McCaindez keeps getting closer to the WH with every utterance.
Comment by Henry | May 30, 2008
Careful, KG: referring to him as “Hussein” will get “moderates” calling you “rasist”.
One thing you have to give Shelly is that she has been totally consistent in her public comments. She has not wavered one bit. Despite a nice, cushy upbringing and an even nicer, cushier adult life, she really, really, really hates it here. Perhaps she could do herself (and everyone else) a favor and move to Bora Bora.
Comment by TheBad | May 30, 2008
Bad
What do you have against Bora Bora?
Send her and Ballsack to VENEZUELA!!!!!!
Comment by WMD_Maker | May 30, 2008
Good point. They will feel right at home with Uncle Hugo.
Comment by TheBad | May 30, 2008
Bad…. No one will ever accuse me of being PC — I call em’ as I see em’.
Besides, his name IS Hussein. If he has an issue with that, he should CHANGE it.
Being of Polynesian ancestry, however, I do take issue with your suggestion to send Omarosa Obama to Bora Bora.
I say we send her back to Mother Africa. I’ll pitch in for the ticket. Hell, I’ll spring for the whole thing. The only caveat is that she has to stay there forever.
I wonder if Andrew would think that’s charitable enough…we are all greedy, heartless ba$tards after all….
Comment by Kanaka Girl | May 30, 2008
KG, twixt you’n me, I think he meant to say Torabora. That would be the perfect place, wrap her in cloth and never hear from her again.
Comment by Lee | May 30, 2008
of course, to understand this kind of comment, you have to acctually have the wherewithall to realize that there is something WRONG with this country. if you don’t, don’t worry about it. if you FEEL the country is perfect, it must be, right?
to be very specific about what she was talking about: the word fear was used to refer to the Bush tactic of warning us about Terrorists threats that didn’t exist. or maybe they did get real intel about it? maybe from the random babblings of torchered terrorists in Gitmo. and so he tells congress that if they don’t vote as he says, there’ll be a terrorist attack. and telling the voters to essentially “vote GOP or Osama will kill you”
to give the left it’s fair share: democrats (and voters for that matter) are pathetic for bowing to such warmongering predictions of doom and death for as long as they did.
Comment by andrew | May 30, 2008
You’re absolutely right, Andrew. There are things that are wrong about this country. Hell, let’s be honest – it’s the worst country in the world … except for all the other ones. Your rhetoric shows your true colors, sir:
“if you FEEL the country is perfect, it must be, right?”
Kindly show where anyone said that. I’ll wait.
(elevator music)
Found it yet? I’ll keep waiting.
(crickets chirping)
Non-liberals don’t suggest perfection. Conversely, liberals suggest they can deliver it, so long as they have full and unobstructed control. We all know how that turns out.
Comment by TheBad | May 30, 2008
I wasn’t quoting anyone dude, but to say that anyone is unpatriotic for leveling criticism against the nation is to say one of two things:
either one, you’re saying we shouldn’t talk about (and possibly fix) the country’s problems, or two, you’re saying the nation is perfect.
you’re either blinded by pride, or you’re delutional enough to think there is such a thing as a perfect country. pick whichever you like.
by the way, I keep using the word “feel” because it is the conservatives who act on feeling over reason, not liberals.

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the Anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England ‘s former Prime Minister Tony Blair’s words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America, he said: “A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in… And how many want out.”
Comment by Lee | May 31, 2008
Given recent immigrations statistics for England (large Muslim influx plus large emigration by native-born Brits), Mr. Blair’s remarks are perhaps a sadly prophetic commentary on the nation he once led.
Comment by PabloD | May 31, 2008
Lee – you’re the best!
Andrew Andrew….where to start…. first of all, NO ONE called you “unpatriotic”. Why are all you liberals so freaking touchy about your patriotism? Perhaps because deep down you know you really have none and everyone knows it but you!
Second, I don’t think anyone here really cares if terrorists were “torchered” at Gitmo when said “torcher” consisted of putting undies on their heads and scaring them with big bad doggies. (is your spellcheck broken or are you still in first grade?)
Do you REALLY believe that there is no threat of a terrorist attack against our country? If so, you are a bigger idiot than your posts would indicate.
No one here said this country is perfect, but it’s the best country there is. If you’re too ignorant or blinded by liberal cr@p to recognize that fact, perhaps you should join Omarosa Obama on her one-way to Torabora.
Comment by Kanaka Girl | June 2, 2008
wow, in one SENTENCE of that last post we had her say that “no one called you unpatriotic” before the sentence even ended she called me unpatriotic. that kind of BS takes talent, where were you when Bush was searching for BS’ing talent?
second, and i’m sure y’all will hate this, I CARE if terrorists get “torchered” (even if it’s misspelled) because even if you have a “support the troops” bumper sticker, we are still endangering our troops every time we “torcher” an enemy, because it makes the enemy more likely to return the favor (this also relates to previous points I’ve made about America surrenduring it’s moral authority)
third, do I think there is no terrorist threat? Don’t be stupid. Do I think the threat was inflated for the benefit of the Bush adminisration’s power grab? No, I KNOW it was inflated to help them achieve greater executive power. so does anyone else who’s been paying attention, unless they’ve been hypnotized by fox news.

Do you not understand timelines andrew? I did call you unpatriotic AFTER pointing out that you were blaming someone else for calling you unpatriotic when in fact they hadn’t.
we are still endangering our troops every time we “torcher” an enemy, because it makes the enemy more likely to return the favor
andrew, the enemy we are dealing with here doesn’t operate on the same moral compass. A person who will strap a bomb to their own child is not someone you can reason with. These barbarians are going to torture our soldiers no matter what we do, so frankly, if torturing a TERRORIST obtains one iota of information that will save one innocent life, then in my opinion it’s worth it. And just for the record, I don’t consider what happened at Gitmo to be torture. Humiliation, yes. Intimidation, yes. Torture, no way.

I agree with most of you on this…. These black people think they are entitled to sooooo much. Elitist Obama wants to be better than us and he thinks that having a college education will allow him to look down that fat nose of his. You better know your place boy!
