Obama flip-flops on whether Iranian Revolutionary Guard is terrorist organization
Less than a year ago, he said they weren’t. A couple of days ago, he said our military’s presence has strengthened Iran. Today while pandering for Jewish votes, he flip-flopped.
Over 3/4 of his Senate colleagues voted to designate the IRG as a terrorist organization. Considering they’ve been aiding the Iraqi insurgency and killing our soldiers, such a designation is well deserved. But a scant few months ago, the Obamessiah, trying to shore up his moonbat base, tied a “Yes” vote with a neo-con war plan that is non-existent. If the intent was to authorize military force against Iran, how did it earn the support of that many Democrats (including Reid, Schumer, and Durbin)? Did Osamabama even bother to read the d@mned bill?
If the guy doesn’t have a hair on his nad sack to stand on his principles in the face of Jewish voters, how in the blue hell can he be expected to confront the evil that threatens this country today? What a puss!

What I don’t get is that something like 60% of male Jewish voters are going to vote for Hussein. How unbelievably stupid can they be?

Was this before or after he changed his mind on Iran or voted against the bill that he didn’t read that 3/4 of the Senate passed?
blinky mccain is going down big time.
You may be right, Jen. That’s what amuses me about you leftists, though. “Sure, our guy is a lightweight in an empty suit whose fatal naivete could destroy the economy, if not the country. True, we can’t name a single thing the guy has achieved in his political career, and he makes more gaffes than George W. Bush. Granted, he hangs out with some of the lowest scum of the Earth, then denounces them only when the heat gets to be unbearable. OK, he’s a pathological liar, too. And yeah, he’s a Marxist (not that this is a bad thing) and an elitist. But if you can just get past all that, he’s the greatest thing since TiVo and Happy Days met. Plus, he’s not Republican, so all that other stuff doesn’t matter.”
That about sum it up?
Comment by crushliberalism | June 5, 2008
you can’t name a single thing? nuclear proliferation? more government transparency? this iran sanctions bill? veterans affairs?
hmm, my friends, and john mccain has what going for him now? blink, blink? flip flopped on immigration reform (several times, depending on who he is trying to woo), torture, tax cuts, the so-called agents of intolerance that he now actively courts and sucks up to, his shady lobbyist campaign staff who lobbied for dictators and other unsavory governments and characters? he has missed more votes in the senate than i can count and is about as exciting as this hangnail my coworker just showed me.
i’ll take obama thanks. i think most of the country will too.

Which of these bills did he author? Sponsor? Didn’t think so. Just because he voted on something that someone else came up with doesn’t make him a leader…it makes him a follower. Nice try, apologist.
flip flopped on immigration reform
No arguments here, and you’ve been here long enough to know I’ve whacked him mercilessly on it.
torture
Blah-blah-blah…panties on a head or a big scary dog is NOT torture, yummycakes.
the so-called agents of intolerance that he now actively courts and sucks up to
I’ll concede my ignorance here, because I haven’t the foggiest idea what in the blue hell you’re talking about.
he has missed more votes in the senate than i can count
THIS coming from an Obama supporter? Pfffffffff-bwhahahahahahahaha!
and is about as exciting as this hangnail my coworker just showed me.
And there you have it, ladies and germs. Liberals base their votes on who makes them “feel” excited, regardless of whether or not their candidate is intellectually and morally bankrupt and is a cancer on the body politic. Everyday, my tag line that liberals “feel, not think” gets proven correct.
I’m not really sure what’s new and exciting about the guy, since he’s busy stealing 24-year-old Mario Cuomo speeches to rehash the same demonstrably failed leftist policies. If by “new” and “fresh”, you mean “a quarter of a century ago”, then yeah…”new” and “fresh”.
i’ll take obama thanks. i think most of the country will too.
Try not to think…rarely does anything good ever comes of that when liberals try. Leave that daunting task to us grown-ups who are better suited for the job. You just go ahead and stick to the “feeling” thing.
Besides, you “thought” that Kerry was going to win in 2004…and you were wrong. I’m not going to try and predict the country’s preference until Election Day gets here.

ha, i never really liked kerry, i just didn’t want bush to win. i also knew webb was going to win after you predicted his demise (webb is toast were the words you used, i believe – blinkity blink!) so i was right. good thing, too, because i think if geogie macaca won, he would be the republican nominee today with a much more energized party behind him. phew.
how about the lugar-obama bill? – an easy search finds this – President Bush today signed the Lugar-Obama proliferation and threat reduction initiative into law. Authored by U.S. Sens. Dick Lugar (R-IN) and Barack Obama (D-IL), the Lugar-Obama initiative expands U.S. cooperation to destroy conventional weapons. It also expands the State Department’s ability to detect and interdict weapons and materials of mass destruction.
mccain spoke out against waterboarding (and i think he knows something about torture) but then encouraged bush to veto bill outlawing it (blink-blink aka flip-flop). agents of intolerance was what mccain called jerry falwell and pat robertson before he needed their pull (and falwell died) to help him with evangelicals. suck up!

“Didn’t like” and “didn’t think he would win” are two different things. You did think he would win. You were wrong.
i also knew webb was going to win after you predicted his demise (webb is toast were the words you used, i believe – blinkity blink!)
You were right. I didn’t know Virginians were sick enough to elect a kiddie porn author. I clearly gave those derelicts too much credit.
how about the lugar-obama bill?
I found it. S. 2566. The one that Dick Lugar wrote all of and Barry O attached his name to. The one that is all fluff and no bite and doesn’t do what it purports to do. Got it.
His own surrogates couldn’t name any of his accomplishments, but you can? I don’t think so. It can’t be done.
Comment by crushliberalism | June 5, 2008
i love how you are still holding on to the kiddie porn thing. if webb is the VP choice, those ridiculous and desparate talking points will be moot because mccain wrote a glowing review of the book and his quote is on the cover, does that mean mccain loves kiddie porn? of course, considering his age, even jenna jamison could be considered kiddie porn to him. ba dum bum!
Comment by jen | June 5, 2008
if webb is the VP choice
…then he and Barack can go trolling for Cambodian boys together. Ought to be a hoot.
Comment by crushliberalism | June 5, 2008
I love how she refers to Falwell and Robertson as “agents of intolerance”, but plans to vote for a guy who spent 20 years listening to the spewings of a hate-filled, racist madman.
Comment by Kanaka Girl | June 5, 2008
Crush I sure am glad that jen clarified that blink blink- aka flip flop thingee. I was beginning to think she was recovering from lasik surgery or something.
And jen (with a small j) I agree with some of your complaints with McCain. I even went so far at one time to say I was so fed up with McCain that I’d rather vote for Shrillary than McCain. But….If only for one thing. I’ll vote for McCain because I can see him as our Comm ander-in-Chief and NOT 57 states Osamabamamama!
Comment by tnjack | June 5, 2008
Jen and Andrew should get together for some laughs and Kool-Aid.
Comment by TheBad | June 5, 2008
KG – i am just quoting mccain – he called them agents of intolerance, not me. then he sucked up to them to win evangelicals.
tnjack – is 57 states (when he meant 47) really as bad as ‘we’re already back to surge levels” (we’re not, and won’t even be in a few monthts” or saying he supported all legislation to investigate levees in new orleans (he didn’t) or that he was in new orleans when he was in kenner, or confusing sunni and shiite multiple times or saying you can stroll in an iraqi marketplace and neglecting to mention you are surrounded by hundreds of marines and planes and tanks?
The Bad – who is andrew? it’s funny you said that b/c my prom date’s name was andrew.
blinkity blink! i’m off to a wine tasting because that’s what we obama supporters like! arugula and wine!
jon – you know i love you.
Comment by jen | June 5, 2008
He meant 57 as in the 57 states of islam he couldnt give a good rats ass about the 50 AMERICAN states
About being in Kenner thats where one of the levies was that broke dimwit
confusing sunni and shiite SO WHAT garbage, trash, refuse its all the same not needed, unwanted, to be thrown out, to be disposed of.
Let me guess French wine? New York, Cali wine too good for you?

When you’re running for President of the United States and you don’t know there’s 50, then yeah…it’s that bad.
jon – you know i love you.
As well you should.

Andrew is the liberal who got baited and schooled here. Haven’t heard much from him since then…
Comment by TheBad | June 6, 2008
jen you can use all the excuses you want but I was trying to give you a legitimate reason why I (and I was not trying to convince anyone else) will vote for McCain, as much as I hate to, and not the Messiah. I wouldn’t try to convince you to vote either way.
I have a good friend at work who admitted to me that she would vote for Satan himself if he wore a democrat button. I love her to death but she says voting for her has nothing to do with issues but only party, so I avoid the issue of politics around her. I’ll extend that courtesy to you likewise.
Comment by tnjack | June 6, 2008
“bated and schooled?” for your information, i’ve spent the past few days moving, and the only way you’ll stop me from posting here is if you ban me or bore me. both of which your close to, I feel.
the only contribution I have to this discussion is to point out that not knowing sunni from shia is VERY BAD for anyone who touts his foreign policy credentials. I mean, if you don’t understand the difference between sunni and shia, as well as know which country is prodominently which, you don’t understand the middle east at all. and how can you fight a war on terrorism if you don’t understand the middle east?
Comment by andrew | June 9, 2008

So you’re voting for the Obamessiah because……WHY? Hell, he doesn’t even understand THIS country, much less any other.
Comment by Kanaka Girl | June 9, 2008
the reason I like Obama over McCain is because McCain ASSUMES when he doesn’t KNOW, whereas Obama does not assume. to assume that Al Qaeda and Iran are in bed together because they are both our enemies is the same kind of logic that drove our idiot president to declare Iran, Iraq, and North Korea the “Axis of Evil”. years later, now that we’ve driven our enemies into a hole together, Iran now has ties to both Iraq AND North Korea. ties that didn’t exist before Bush lumped them in together as “rouge states”. but McCain, (and most here) will either not grasp this, or simply deny the cause and effect, and repeat the cycle.
