Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Obama flip-flops on Jerusalem

Seriously, this #ssclown is starting to make Jean-François Heinz-Kerry look like a rank amateur.  From Infidels are Cool:

I’m sure we’ll see plenty more of this. Lying through his teeth so he doesn’t get booed at a major speech, and then letting his campaign folks deal with the REAL story later…

Obama makes himself look all great when he claimed at AIPAC that Jerusalem must remain undivided.

“Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided,” Obama declared Wednesday, to rousing applause from the 7,000-plus attendees at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee policy conference.

Well now he’s backtracking and saying otherwise…

But a campaign adviser clarified Thursday that Obama believes “Jerusalem is a final status issue, which means it has to be negotiated between the two parties” as part of “an agreement that they both can live with.”

“Two principles should apply to any outcome,” which the adviser gave as: “Jerusalem remains Israel’s capital and it’s not going to be divided by barbed wire and checkpoints as it was in 1948-1967.”

It appears as though the vaginal orifice allowed those gentle Hamas peaceniks to bully him into his newly discovered position.  Now THAT is what we need in a president, right?

But hey, he makes people “feel” good.  And why not?  If you don’t like his stance on something, just wait ten minutes and it’s bound to morph into something more to your liking.

  1. Maybe he thinks he can outdo Bill Clinton and he’ll say whatever audience is before him wants to hear?

  2. notice mccain’s flip flop on wiretapping w/o warrants today? his flip flop on telecom immunity? flip flops all around!

  3. That’s your comeback to Obama being a puss and flip-flopping on issues of national security and Islamic terrorism and being Hamas’ b#tch, jen? Barry O’s gonna need that Jewish vote, and he ain’t exactly going about it the right way. I got your flip-flop right here…

  5. jonathon, i am sorry about your erectile dysfuntions, but do you really want everyone to know about it by drawing attention to it on your own blog? we could talk about that in private.

i’m not defending obama here, i am just saying there is a lot of flipping going on.

  6. i’m not defending obama here

Really? You’ve countered every comment about Hussein’s penchant for dishonesty with “well McCain did ________”…. you even went so far as to attack the guy for a physical problem. It’s pathetic.
Go drink some more French wine jen…..it obviously kills more brain cells than American wine!

LOL! In your dreams, toots. ;)

    i’m not defending obama here,

    Right. And I’ve got dreadlocks.

  8. Kanaka you are ridiculous. where did this french wine thing come from? actually being at the wine tasting, i am pretty sure they were all california and virginia wines, but thanks for playing.

what’s wrong with highlighting all of blinky’s dishonesty and frequent misstatements and policy changes, most of them just trying to win back republicans? especially if you are going to try and paint obama as a flip flopper. the fact that you keep calling him hussein is pretty lame, too.

    Comment by jen | June 6, 2008

  9. p.s. jon – about the dreadlocks, please, we don’t want to know any more about your privates. first the flip flop, now your dread pubes? :)

  10. Love how that works, Jen:

“I will continue to make fun of someone’s war injuries, but for the love of Gaia stop calling my man Hussein.”

    Very lame.

    Comment by TheBad | June 6, 2008

  11. Y’know the really sad part of this? If the lamestream media would have done its job from the start, this guy would never have made it this far, but the never-ending pass he got on every mistake (or mispoken statement for jen’s sake) made, the Dems would have seen him for what he is from the beginning.

McLame got the same treatment to some extent because he’s always been the liberal media’s favorite GOP spokesman solely because he DOESN’T think or speak like a true conservative.

We have officially jumped the shark as a nation and are letting the idiots that run the media select who will and won’t be a candidate for our highest offices.

    Meh!

  12. about the dreadlocks, please…pubes…blah-blah

And you people thought I was the one who would normally bring down the level of discourse?

“I will continue to make fun of someone’s war injuries, but for the love of Gaia stop calling my man Hussein.”

    Very lame.

I couldn’t have said it any better myself, TB. Then again, the left isn’t only making fun of McCain’s blinking, but his teeth. You know, the ones that were yanked out by the roots while he was in the Hanoi Hilton? Oh the hilarity.

    Comment by crushliberalism | June 6, 2008

  13. Alas, it is nothing new. When Bob Dole was running for president, the left showed all of us gun-toting, bible-clinging rubes the absolute hilarity of his war injury by highlighting that he was always holding a pen.

While fighting the Nazis in WWII (you know – that war that shows us how raising taxes helps the economy), Dole took machine gun fire to his upper back and right arm. After bleeding on the battlefield for nine hours, he was rescued and taken to the hospital for recovery. As a result of his injuries sustained in battle, his right arm was paralyzed. He carries the pen in his right hand as a signal to people that he is unable to shake hands with them.

Wow – that’s funny stuff! You liberals stay classy, now.

  14. Obambi will never get the Jewish vote no matter how hard he tries. Maybe the liberal Jews but this yet another one of his many lies.

    Comment by resistliberalism | June 7, 2008

  15. the ironic thing here is, the biggest israel supporters in america are republican, and yet most jews vote democrat. Obama doesn’t need to win the jewish vote so much as he just needs to BE a democrat.

  16. Kanaka you are ridiculous.

Coming from you jen, I take that as a compliment.

the fact that you keep calling him hussein is pretty lame, too.

Really? That IS his name — despite the great lengths your side takes to hide that fact. So calling your guy by his given name is lame…but calling his opponent “blinky” is not? Okay, got it!

first the flip flop, now your dread pubes?

    very classy jen.

Comment by Kanaka Girl | June 9, 2008

  17. can we just say that “blinky” AND “hussein” are pretty lame criticisms of the canidates. I mean christ, the only thing you can fairly criticize a canidate on are his choices and neither McCain’s injuries or Obama’s middle name are things these men chose for themselves.

to go a step further, to say that McCain’s time in vietnam makes him unstable, and Barrack’s Muslim father makes him un-american are equally bogus. We should know better.

    Comment by andrew | June 10, 2008

  18. Hussein IS THE GUYS NAME, blinky is attacking a possible medical problem with not having enough tear duct production. Or maybe its just all the lights from news cameras. It s not Ballsack’s father that makes him un-American ITS HIS POLICIES!!!

  19. WMD you’re right but I think little andy just doesn’t get it.

    Comment by tnjack | June 10, 2008

  20. whatever, you people just want to be able to use your cute little name for the dem’s canidate, and you want to get all offended when sombody does it back to your canidate. both nicknames are equally tacky, but if your going to use hussein, quit bitching when somebody calls McCain “blinky”

besides, you don’t call Obama hussein because it’s his name. I know the real reason you people use that name but crush told me he’d ban me if I said it again.

    Comment by andrew | June 10, 2008

  21. I know the real reason you people use that name but crush told me he’d ban me if I said it again.

  22. Ahem – what specifically is tacky about using the man’s given name?

    Dimwit.
