Jesse, Jr.: Add another chapter, maybe the Book of Barack, to the Bible
And to think there’s a perception of an Obamessiah complex going on! From Politico:
Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.), son of the one-time presidential contender, said Obama’s victory overwhelmed him.
“I cried all night. I’m going to be crying for the next four years,” he said. “What Barack Obama has accomplished is the single most extraordinary event that has occurred in the 232 years of the nation’s political history. … The event itself is so extraordinary that another chapter could be added to the Bible to chronicle its significance.”
But no, this “Obamessiah myth” is just an urban legend being perpetuated by such notable right-wingers as…Jesse Jackson, Jr.

I thought Obama was already mentioned in the Bible… something about a wolf in sheep’s clothing, as I recall… or maybe it was the false god that many will fall before and worship in the Book of Revelation.
I don’t think Obama is the antichrist (I expect the antichrist to be more effective than Obama, if nothing else), but if the left is going to deify him, I think the religious rhetoric is fair game to throw back.

I don’t know the fact that he is nearly immune eerily reminds me of the ccinton years.
I was a teenager back then though…..
I didn’t pay much attention back then until I started watching the news in my first year of college.
