Obama’s first general election ad touts his vote on something he didn’t vote on!
A hat tip to TheBad for this juicy yet unsurprising nugget. Yet another lie in the long and ever-growing list of lies told by the Obamessiah and covered up by his friends and abettors in the MSM. From FNC:
Barack Obama’s first general election ad says about 46 seconds in that the Illinois senator passed laws that “extended health care for wounded troops who’d been neglected.”
The ad “Country I Love”, which was released Friday, provides a citation at the bottom of the screen which reads “Public Law 110 – 181.”
The problem is Senator Obama never voted for that legislation. Public Law 110 – 181 is part of the defense authorization bill which passed the Senate in January by a vote of 91 to three with six senators not voting. Barack Obama was among those six absent senators.
This pathological liar could actually be more dishonest than Bill Clinton, a feat that heretofore was seen as nigh on impossible to achieve.

I used to admire Obama for his life, and the obstacles he’s overcome to become the first African American major party candidate.
After reading this blog entry, I have lost all respect for Obama
If you for the troops, and want to the best health coverage for them I’m behind you. If you oppose extending health coverage for the troops, I oppose you, but I can still respect you for standing up for your beliefs, whatever they may be.
But to say you are for extending health benefits to our troops, and then lie about casting that vote so you can wrap yourself in the flag is disgusting! So much for Obama not taking part in “Politics as usual!”

It’s just Obama’s unique take on Kerry’s “I voted for it before I voted against it.” In his case, he didn’t vote at all.
Now even his INexperience is a selling point! It’s another miracle! Shout hallelujah and put your hands on the radio, all hail the Obamessiah!

Maybe Bill Clinton taught the Obomination what the meaning of “voted” is….

KG, Clinton may have been an inspiration for B O but B O isn’t even saying that he didn’t inhale. Actually he’s admitted that he did drugs in both high school and college. I believe BO has illusions of grandeur as he now feels that he has risen to a level above that of once great Liberal Liar, Bubba, and now is untouchable. After all, he has the media AND Hollywood so what has he to fear ?

“I used to admire Obama for his life, and the obstacles he’s overcome to become the first African American major party candidate.”
If you mean the best private school in Hawaii, Harvard etc. and a short stint as a Community Organizer (I do wish someone would explain just what the f#@% that is) then yeah, he has overcome “obstacles”.
More like he was born into a situation where he has been “handled” his entire life.
Good ol’ Ralph Nader, never one to keep his big mouth shut, said just today that Obama was half African-American. Hmmmmm where did that fool go to school???

tnjack,
One can only hope that Obomination’s teflon will wear off before the lemmings in this country elect him President…. (I’m not optimistic though…)

[...] Obama, shameful at 6:45 pm by crushliberalism This is just like him taking credit for passing that veterans health care bill that he didn’t vote for. Now he’s touting work he did on the Senate Banking Committee, which would be great if (a) [...]
