This sounds like “politics…as…usual ” for the liberals. He can’t claim anything positive for his candidate so he tries to discredit the opponent.
I’m afraid it won’t do Clark any good to suck up to Hussein. My guess is Jeremiah will be a lock for Osama’s SecDef.
Let’s see… In his 20′s McCain was into the military and flying jets.

This argument notwithstanding, what if we take this one step further by giving Clark the benefit of the doubt (for academic purposes only)? If we assume that Clark is correct and military service should be removed from the equation, I am still waiting to hear the follow up: what in Obama’s résumé (which can neatly fit on a bar napkin) qualifies him for the office more than McCain? Clark’s argument against McCain fell short in following up with an argument for Obama.

Our academic exercise is ridiculous because military service is always pertinent in the case of a person who is to be elected Commander in Chief. This begs the question:

Who will our military men and women accept as their Commander in Chief more: a man who was on the business end of wartime brutality or a man who was on the business end of a peacetime doobie?

In the Fl Primary I was undecided until a couple of days before the election. What made my decision for me was this one fact. Before McCain stood up and pushed Bush into the surge, Iraq was a mess. Since Bush took McCain’s advice, the number of our and civilian casualties have down, the Enemy is running away, giving up or dying, and the Iraqi government and army are standing up.

When looking at the same intelligence, Obama and the Dems were willing to just give up and McCain saw correctly victory.

Now whether it was McCain’s experience as a POW, Naval Squander Commander, Annapolis graduate, Senator for over 20 years and member of the Armed Services committee that gave his this insight, or is it that he is just smarter and has more common sense than is Dem counterpart, there is NO question who will be the better Commander-in-Chief. McCain!
