Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Bushism…from Obama

Barry O, via NRO:

“You know, it’s always a bad practice to say ‘always’ or ‘never.’” — Obama, speaking in Amman today.

  1. I hear so very little of what Barry says because as soon as he pops up on the TV screen, I hit the mute button (wore about about a dozen during the Clinton administration) but I couldn’t get to it in time today and actually heard the damn fool say that.

His handlers must go nuts every time he goes off script. But, they know it won’t make any difference to those that worship his ass.

  2. I’m not a fan of the Obamasamma at all, but there are bigger gaffs, flip flops and lies made by him in this campaign and before than this. Besides, Obama is right on this. It is always a bad practice to say always or never.

I’ve told my students many times when teaching test-taking strategies, “Always avoid absolutes!” By breaking my own rule, I made the point stick in my student’s minds. I’m sure this word play is what was meant by Obama. I’m going to cut the Obammasamma a break on this one. I’d much rather see him fry on other misspeaks.
