Crush Liberalism

Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Andrea Mitchell: McCain so thoroughly rebutted Obama that he must have cheated!

From Newsbusters:

Think John McCain did pretty well in last evening’s Saddleback Civil Forum on Presidency hosted by the Rev. Rick Warren? You’re not the only one. The Obama campaign thinks he did well too — so good, in fact, that they think he might have cheated. And on this morning’s “Meet the Press,” Andrea Mitchell wasted no time floating the Obama campaign’s “private” concern:

(Videotape)

SEN. JOHN McCAIN (R-AZ): Defeat it. Couple of points. One, if I’m president of the United States, my friends, if I have to follow him to the gates of hell, I will get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice. I will do that and I know how to do it. I will get that done.

(End videotape)

MR. GREGORY: Andrea Mitchell, that’s a pretty clear contrast.

MS. ANDREA MITCHELL: Oh, absolutely. And, you know, there was the crisp, immediate, forceful response by John McCain, clearly in a comfort zone because he was with his base. And Barack Obama, taking a risk in going there but seeing an opportunity. And a much more nuanced approach. The Obama people must feel that he didn’t do quite as well as they might have wanted to in that context, because that – what they’re putting out privately is that McCain may not have been in the cone of silence and may have had some ability to overhear what the questions were to Obama.

MR. GREGORY: Right.

MS. MITCHELL: He seemed so well prepared.

As NB points out, imagine the roles reversed: McCain says “Wow, that Obama cat sure seemed well prepared, as if he heard my questions and answers!” Countdown to “racist” shrieks in 5, 4, 3…

Nope…no liberal media bias!

  1. I don’t think this is an example of reverse racism. I think it’s typical liberal whining when someone spanks their candidate. When the moonbats lose an election they start screaming that the Republicans cheated. When they get out maneuvered in an election campaign they call it dirty pool. When they go on vacation and ignore House business and the Republicans stay in session in an attempt to force them to do their damn jobs, they call it an electioneering stunt.

And when the Republican candidate so thoroughly shreds the liberal whackjob idiot they’ve nominated that they can’t respond then they simply claim he cheated.

It’s a standard tactic of the poor debater. Attack the PERSON, not the MESSAGE. Obviously they can’t compete with McCain’s clear and concise description, so they have no recourse but to go after him.

The more moonbats change, the more they stay the same.

  2. Of course there was a contrast between the candidates, One is a Republican and the other is a Democrat, both touting essentially the party line on issues.

And as far as McCain possibly knowing the questions a head of time, Its that McCain is Decisive and knows his beliefs, not like Obama who is harder to nail down than water on issues.

Moonbats and NBC (same thing): Sometimes there is not a conspiracy. Sometimes the truth is right in front of you.

  3. The left wing media is looking for any excuse, any at all, to avoid admitting that McCain kicked Obama’s rear.

  4. I have a different take on the “debate”…I believe Obama cleaned up.

You see, McCain had so many GREAT answers and B Hussein was so pathetic. So, we then apply the socialist policy of redistribution of answers, taking from the “haves” for the greater good of the “have nots”. In doing so, McCain loses basically all fruits of his labor and B.H., as the elitist lazy snob, befits, thereby “winning” last night’s festivities.

  5. I recall hearing Hussein respond to a question, I believe it was the question about Supreme Court Justices, saying something to the effect that he had been “thinking about this question for a few days”. It struck me as odd at the time in light of the fact that these were supposed to be surprise questions.
    Anyone else catch that?

  6. Actually, it was the question about being willing to commit to an emergency plan for orphans. To which Obama replied:

I cheated a little bit. I actually looked at this idea ahead of time and I think it’s a great idea

So WHO is the cheater here?

  7. The MSM (all in the same dirty pot with libs) simply use their outlet to whinge about all the wrong things the right is doing. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard people say things like, “If they win the election it will be because they rigged it, like last time.”

They refuse to admit that most Americans simply don’t like what they stand for, so they have to do loads of projection to make themselves feel better. Oh yeah and 28K dinner plates don’t hurt, either. Wonder how many homeless got into *that* for free.
