Crush Liberalism

Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Salon: Obama loss could only be due to racism

You can read this guy’s leftist pap if you want to here, but he undermines his own argument at the very end with this:

You may or may not agree with Obama’s policy prescriptions, but they are, by and large, serious attempts to deal with the biggest issues we face: a failing health care system, oil dependency, income stagnation, and climate change.

Read that bold text again.  The buttmunch is making the right’s argument for us: we disagree with his policies (at least, the policies we know about that he hasn’t flip-flopped on or lied about)!  Isn’t that the main reason to reject a political candidate?

Sure, there are a variety of reasons not to vote for a guy: shady character, mental defects, poor judgment, etc.  But by and large, we vote for someone because of his/her policies, and/or we vote against someone for the same reason.  This schmuck seems to think that we should vote for guy just because he has some ideas that he thinks will solve “the biggest issues”, but if we think the proposed solutions would make the problems worse, then do we not have an obligation to vote accordingly?  According to this dork, apparently not.

Friends, we’ve always known that the left is morally and intellectually bankrupt.  Attempts like this to shame the electorate to vote for the wrong guy so as not to appear “racist” are evidence of said bankruptcy.  The Obamessiah must be in real trouble if the left is resorting to “please vote for him, or you’re a bigot!”  Sorry, but that crap doesn’t work on me, nor on most of normal America.

  1. It looks like the Slate article was posted about 4 hours before BHO announced his VP pick. Funny that the author compares the length of McCain’s list of alleged liabilities to a Joe Biden monologue. Guess they’ll have to throw that down the memory hole, along with any negative things that BHO said about Biden, and vice versa.
Once, just once, I would like to see a politician say “Hey, I know that so-and-so wants me to be his VP, but remember when I said he was an unqualified jacka$$? Yeah, I meant that!”
    I know, I’m dreaming…

  2. Obama is a stupid Communist pig. I hate him and hope that he will soon…anyway, he will not be President of the United States.

John McCain is the right man for the job.
