Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Biden bits about the blogosphere

The Obamessiah picked his disciple last week: Joe Biden (Plagiarist-DE), a clean articulate guy from reliably blue Delaware.  They might want to avoid campaigning at 7-11 stores, though.  What are we seeing about the blogosphere regarding the pick?

  • Reminders that Greasy Joe thinks Iowa schools do better than DC schools due to the lack of blacks in Iowa.
  • Reminders that Greasy Joe, being the “foreign policy guru” that Barry O needs him to be, didn’t notice any “bad guys” in Iraq.
  • Barry O must not have vetted his mate very well, because Biden’s got ties to his son’s lobbying firm.
  • Biden can at least take some credit for uniting Iraqis of different sects.  Greasy Joe, being the “foreign policy guru”, came up with the craptastic idea of partitioning Iraq into three different countries.  That idea was so bad that Iraqis of different blocs (Sunnis, Shias, Kurds) united in their opposition, and they credit Biden’s horrendous idea for their unity.  But I’m sure that was his goal, right?
  • McCain’s got an ad where Biden himself criticized Obama’s lack of experience, and heaped praised upon McCain.  What a difference a VP slot makes, huh?
  • Greasy Joe, being the “foreign policy guru”, thought in the wake of 9/11 that we should send the Iranians a $200 million blank check to prove to the Arab world that we weren’t going to kill them all.  Ignoring the faux pas that Iranians aren’t Arabs (maybe all those “clean, articulate” brown people look alike to him?), did anyone clue Capt. Oblivious in to the fact that Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism who is intent on getting nuclear weapons?

I’m not suggesting that a bad VP pick is necessarily going to sink a candidate.  After all, Bush’s dad survived the 1988 election with Dan Quayle.  But man, this ought to be a hoot!

  1. The whole lead up to the “text message” event, followed by the anouncement that Biden was the VP pick was pretty much of a dud.
But at least he’s got a nice clean, articulate running mate.

Hey at least Joe got ONE right.

  3. i don’t think it was a dud – i got my text message during the night so it was there bright and early when i woke up and the announcement still made the morning Washington Post front page that morning, too. most importantly the obama campaign now has a ton of cell phone numbers and text contacts for their outreach and GOTV efforts and the papers had to cover the speculation all week just in case they were scooped by a text. just because mccain doesn’t even know how to use ‘the google’, don’t be hatin’.

i love joe biden and am glad he was chosen. can’t wait to see who mclame has to pick. can’t pick romney now that they made an ad with biden’s digs at obama at the debates because mccain and romney were way worse at the republican debates.

Yet another thing (in an already HUGE list of things) you’re wrong about. What else is new?

i love joe biden and am glad he was chosen

Of course. A blowhard who spews racial stereotypes, is corrupt to the influences of his son’s lobbying firm, pissed off the entire country of Iraq to the point they’ve rallied around unity in spite of his stupid segregation idea, wanted to cut a check to a regime hell bent on our (and Israel’s) destruction, and steals lines and tries to pass them off as his own…what’s not to like? All he needs to do now is pen some kiddie p0rn or drown a woman in his car, and you’ll be wetter than my backyard is right now.

  5. What a tool. This election was so ripe for the pickin. The left keep hammerin home that the GOP brand is down, Bush fatigue, unpopular war, slow economy, housing slump, high energy prices, they make sure it’s all we hear about. All Obama had to do was swallow his pride and select Clinton, keep his mouth shut, unless he was looking at a teleprompter and it would have been very difficult for him to lose. And if they lose again in November, these idiots will be scratching their heads again wondering how they loss another presidential election…or claim the GOP stole it…or complain about the electoral votes process…

  6. I was talking about the text message thing being a dud, not the pick of biden – what is the downside of having millions of people register their cell phone/text devices to find out who the VP was going to be? now the campaign has numbers that ordinarily wouldn’t be counted in polls, contacted for GOTV, etc.

What ARE you people smoking there in DC? Even the liberal press hates Biden. But then again, you love Captain Kiddie Porn, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

what is the downside of having millions of people register their cell phone/text devices to find out who the VP was going to be?

jen, I fail to see what’s so exciting about giving your cell phone number to a poltical campaign. All you’re going to get will be a barrage of political calls hounding you for money.

  8. ah, captain kiddie porn. i do love him, you are right. i love that cpk beat macacca thus ensuring the demise of his political future (if allen had won, he would have certainly been the republican nominee and probably would have united conservatives a lot more than mclame has) – i also love that mclame himself must love reading about kiddie porn since he wrote a glowing comment on the back cover of webb’s book saying how realistic and awesome it was. hmmm.

i’m just saying it was a smart campaign move to gather info that normally is hard to get and a smart way to get newspapers to focus on the VP selection all week. look out, it’s the google!

So why did all the libs hate the idea of listening to terrorists cell phone calls from overseas? National Security violates my privacy screams from the left and now you say this? OMG!!!!!!!!!

That’s really nice jen — getting joy from destroying the career of a decent human being – just because you disagree with him politically and he made the mistake of talking about a monkey and the liberals convinced an ethnic group that it was a racial slur. A MONKEY jen…. how idiotic!

  11. Non-existent slur: bad.

    Kiddie p0rn: good.

    Continue.
