Convention Dems throw away thousands of American flags

When the cameras and bright lights of the Democrat convention were gone, the left reverted to normal form: sending thousands of American flags they had waved on TV into trash bags headed for a landfill.  Full details and a chronology are here, and pictures are here.

    But the DNCC has now released a statement that the Republicans “wrongfully took” the flags from Invesco:

    American flags were proudly waved by the 75,000 people who joined Barack Obama at the Democratic Convention. John McCain should applaud that, but instead his supporters wrongfully took leftover bundles of our flags from the stadium to play out a cheap political stunt calling into question our patriotism.

    I have to admit, I don’t think either side is above “cheap political stunts” when the opportunity presents itself, but I do notice that the DNCC’s statement does not deny they were throwing the flags away.

  2. The Dems have proven time and again that they have no love for this country, or the flag we hold dear. Their excuse that they were storing the flags for return to the manufacturer is totally absurd. I know I always store my “returns” in garbage bags by the trash heap! NOT!
    I will unabashedly question their patriotism! They have NONE.

    The Denver Post reports it was a Invesco Field worker who found the flags; he took them after they had sat on a loading dock near Dumpsters for a week and a half.

    Republicans “wrongfully took”…? Riiiight…
