  1. Worse than that, McCain foolishly enters the henhouse of The View and endures nonsense like this from noted scholar Whoopi Goldberg:

“Should I be worried about being a slave, about being returned to slavery because certain things happened in the Constitution that you had to change?”

Yeah, I’m sure the Republicans are looking to bring back slavery. Considering it was a Republican that ended slavery, it makes perfect sense, you ninny.

  2. Whoopi must have skipped over that amendment. I wish McCain had said exactly that. But alas, he was trying to be gentlemanly.

  3. In a perfect world, McCain would’ve said “You need not worry, Whoopi; no master would want a slave whose only skills are (a) sitting on a couch and (b) spouting inane blather all day with the rest of these hens. Except for Ms. Hasselbeck over there – I’d keep her around.”

  4. Did you hear the half-hearted applause from the sheeple? They probably had to turn on the lighted signs to get a response even from that audience. Then Bawbwa, sensing the bone-headedness of the moment, tries to inject some humor by pretending to comfort Whoopi. It was utter ignorance and McCain should have called her on it.

Slave? Again? When was Whoopi a slave?

Anywho, onto Glibson… I’m watching it now and noticing the deliberate camera work that is being used to have Gibson appear to be speaking from a place of authority; looming large over this upstart. He’s looking down his nose at her in condescension. He’s coming off as being the knowing, scolding father figure – or trying to. Pathetic.
