Satire alert, “Obama’s socialism” edition
Excerpt from the People’s Cube:
While canvassing neighborhoods in Ohio this Sunday, Barack Obama advised a tax-burdened plumber not to worry about money because under his presidency money will disappear since it will no longer have any meaning anyway. Instead, all Americans will be living off Obama’s highly nutritive WealthSpread™ formula that is surprisingly low in effort and is being promoted by a group of leading nutritionists known as the Cook Fringe of the Democrat Party under the brand name “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Earned!”
…
“So instead of cutting taxes with a kitchen knife we’ll butter it up with wealth and spread it around like we earned it,” the Democratic candidate continued. “It’s a patented foreign blend that is guaranteed to help improve my standing in the polls, but it’s made with 100% pure American taxpayer sweat, which once again shows how taxes can be patriotic.” …
Heh.
Marxism: It’s what’s for dinner!

I wonder how much of THAT ONE’s wealth will be spread around? My guess is a big fat NONE.
He’s got so much money now, is he “sharing the wealth”? NO! Instead, he’s advertising on Guitar Hero. Can you imagine spending the money to buy that game and then having to look at that sock monkey every time you use it? I’d be 9 kinds of pissed!

Kanaka Girl, I wasn’t aware of the Guitar Hero thing–but it makes perfect sense. You see, Guitar hero is symbolic of liberal thinking–why spend time actually learning to play a real instrument when you can just mash some buttons and pretend to be rock star? Instant gratification for minimal effort in a fantasy world. (btw, sorry if I’m bagging on guitar hero too much, it’s just I’ve spent most of my life playing a REAL guitar–and as most guitarists and musicians will tell you, that game is an obscene waste of time)

Excellent point Quick!
I must say I’m getting extremely sick and tired of the over saturation of this clown. There’s no place to escape…tv, the internet, video games, idiots wearing t-shirts! He’s even on the COOKING CHANNEL – which really just fries me (no pun intended). That was my last refuge of sanity and now it’s been inundated with commercials of the Great Deceiver! Is nothing sacred?

Strange days – here in Arizona I have seen (too many times to count) two different versions of Barry’s campaign ads. Amount of McCain ads? Hint: equal to the amount of experience Barry brings to the table.

Totally with you on the over saturation, Kanaka Girl. Actually, for me it’s to the point of over-dose. And to think, if he gets elected (and it’s looking like he will) we get to have at least 4 more years of the Obamessiah crammed down our throats by these supposedly un-biased media outlets. It only gets scarier from here.

“the Great Deceiver”
Good one KG. Quick… I can’t give up hope on McCain/Palin yet. W was 6 points down during the exit polls of the last election. Polls do not matter, especially when most are slanted by the media anyway.

tnjack…Good, never give up hope. I’m sorry if i sound overly pessimistic, but I’m of the theory that one should always hope for the best and prepare for the worst. I agree with you about the polls….and this election could hold an even bigger surprise than ’04 come November 4th. (btw, my b-day is on Nov. 2nd, guess what I’m wishing for!)

That plumber’s response should have been “And just why the @#$% do you think you have the right to spread my hard-earned wealth to other people?”

I agree tnjack. And we all know the Democrats’ typical MO is to demoralize opposition voters. (Funny, that’s how SATAN works too).
Some Pastors here in Florida are calling for a national day of prayer and fasting on Monday, November 3rd. I encourage everyone to hit their knees and participate. We desperately need God’s protection for our country.
