OH Dem’s reasons for snooping on Joe the Plumber are crap
The Obamton is lying…pure and simple. Sue her, Joe! From C-bus:
Vanessa Niekamp said that when was asked to run a child-support check on Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher on Oct. 16, she thought it routine. A supervisor told her the man had contacted the state agency about his case.Niekamp didn’t know she just had checked on “Joe the Plumber,” who was elevated the night before to presidential politics prominence as Republican John McCain’s example in a debate of an average American.
The senior manager would not learn about “Joe” for another week, when she said her boss informed her and directed her to write an e-mail stating her computer check was a legitimate inquiry.
The reason Niekamp said she was given for checking if there was a child-support case on Wurzelbacher does not match the reason given by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
Director Helen Jones-Kelley said her agency checks people who are “thrust into the public spotlight,” amid suggestions they may have come into money, to see if they owe support or are receiving undeserved public assistance.
Niekamp told The Dispatch she is unfamiliar with the practice of checking on the newly famous. “I’ve never done that before, I don’t know of anybody in my office who does that and I don’t remember anyone ever doing that,” she said today.
Pathetic.

Jon,
What will we all do come 1 Jan for this stuff? Wait, we’ll tune into the MSM…oops, strike that, what am I thinking.

The records check was most likely part of a political hit job; I don’t doubt that. However, anybody who goes on TV and says they’re about to buy a business or make a large amount of money will probably draw a computer check to see if they are getting welfare or if they owe child support. Sometimes, a careless moment of unguarded honesty is the only way you catch a cheat (or a socialist politician disguised as a Senator). The real problem is when that information becomes public. I’m familiar with privacy laws, and the fact is that a support enforcement agency isn’t even supposed to confirm or deny whether someone has an open case. Just like your doctor isn’t supposed to even confirm that you’re his patient if someone calls up.

It’s always been the sole tactic of liberals. When they can’t debate the message of opposition, they have to try to discredit the messenger of the message of opposition. This is no different. Whether Joe the plumber is licensed our unlicensed or anything else personal in his life is irrelevant to what Obama disclosed about “wanting to spread the wealth”. Nazi style attack Journalism is alive and well by the digital brown shirt goons of the liberals media establishment.

What will we all do come 1 Jan for this stuff?
I would recommend doing what I’m going to do:
1. Pray. Pray for yourself, your family, your friends, your country, and yes, even the leaders of our country. Many are so badly lost that they need to be prayed for, badly.
2. Take pleasure in the more meaningful things in this life: family, friends, fun, etc. Life is more than politics. It’s taken me a while to realize that.
3. Take solace in knowing that God’s justice will be administered one way or the other, whether we’re around to see it or not.
4. Don’t let the left, or anyone for that matter, poison your soul with their moonbattery, acrimony, and filth. Be better than that.
5. Whatever you do, do NOT tune in to the MSM!
