UPDATED: Election Day notes
UPDATES BELOW, THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
- Thought and prayers go out to Obama’s family on the death of his grandmother. May God provide strength and comfort in this time of grief.
- Here’s one Obama supporter who is excited about his future: “‘He Is Going To Pay For My Gas And Mortgage!“ Why, it’s as if he knows The One is a socialist or something!
- Here’s a McCain supporter with an in-depth and thoughtful analysis as to why the polls are wrong, why Obama is worried, and why PA will turn red this election. I’m not nearly as rosy with my outlook as this guy, but his reasons are sound.
- Dems are all but certain to pick up some extra Senate seats, but don’t look for that filibuster-proof majority. The seats they thought were vulnerable (Saxby Chambliss in GA, Roger Wicker in MS, Mitch McConnell in KY) aren’t looking that way anymore, and even Norm Coleman in MN may be pulling away.
- Dems perpetrate vote fraud in Philly. Dems and vote fraud…who knew?
- McCain is asking the leftist MSM not to project races based on exit polls, which have been proven time and again to be highly unreliable. Good luck with that, J-Mac.
- Boy, those Obama relatives in Kenya know how to throw one heckuva celebratory shindig to honor their relative who ignores them: slaughtering goats, bulls, and chickens. Yo, dat party’s off da hook, Holmes!
- Barry O thanks his constituents: the press.
Finally, but most importantly, pray. Pray for God to show mercy on this country and spare us the tribulation of an Obamination. But more importantly, just pray for God’s will to be done, and for the serenity to accept whatever His will may be.
UPDATE (11/04/2008 – 01:26 P.M. EST): Very interesting. The Battleground Poll, which is administered by Tarrance Group and has had a remarkable prediction-come-true record since the 1992 election, has The One garnering 50.2% of the popular vote and Juanny Mac with 48.3% of the popular vote. They seem to think that undecideds will break largely for J-Mac. If so, we may possibly have a scenario where the electoral votes and popular votes aren’t held by the same person. Keep this in mind and compare it to the final numbers to see if this guy was anywhere near being right…again.

Like they all say: “this is a turnout election…” so let’s give them turnout. My wife, grandma and myself went to the pools at 6am and voted.
On the way back I heard Zogby himself on the radio today saying that while he predicts an osama victory that could not come to fruition due to a strong Republican turnout at the pools. Which, he added, “has historically been the case for republicans…” Soooo, this moron takes the trouble to factor in his pools unprecedented numbers of young and minority voters but not the high turnout of conservative voters that has been the historical norm????

I guess your not crushing hard enough. Obama is your next president. I voted for him. I am not a “moonbat” a “libtard” or a liberal. I am a gun owning ,rural, son of a B17 pilot who was compelled to fire the neo cons that have hijacked the Republican Party.

Dave,
May God have mercy on you, sir, when you attempt to rationalize your decision to Him on Judgment Day.

“Chris”,
I have decided to let your comment through, because I feel compelled to do something: apologize.
I mean, you have a black heart filled with rage, depravity, and vulgarity. The seething anger that courses through your veins is consuming you. You have expended a lot of time and effort over these last few years trolling my blog, desperate and starving for my attention. And though my heart is saddened as I envision what kind of sad, awful upbringing you must have had that has reduced you this much, I have to wonder if I may have exacerbated or contributed to that in any way.
If so, then God cannot be pleased with me for driving a wedge (even further than already existed) between you and Him. I do not want to be responsible, even in the smallest of ways, of keeping you from a relationship with Jesus. Therefore, if apologizing for my actions will lead you more towards the path of righteousness, then I gladly offer an apology.
Take care, “Chris”…and God bless you and yours!

Im going to hell for voting for Obama? How do you know? When is Judgement Day anyway.? You know, so I can put it on my schedule. Do you feel at all, like you destroyed the very party that you are loyal to? I pray to Jesus, as does my whole family. I do not like mixing religion with politics. Keep crushing.

Im going to hell for voting for Obama? How do you know?
Did you read the link I provided? I’m guessing “No”. You cannot be a born-again Christian and support an unrepentant man who lies with impunity and has been actively supporting a movement that has spilled millions of gallons of blood of innocent babies.
How do I know? Two words: The Bible. Might wanna check that out one day.
When is Judgement Day anyway.? You know, so I can put it on my schedule.
God will let you know in His time when you may expect your “appointment”. It’s not my concern.
Do you feel at all, like you destroyed the very party that you are loyal to?
I am loyal to no party. I am loyal to God.
I pray to Jesus, as does my whole family.
Mark 7:6: “And He said to them, “Rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘THIS PEOPLE HONORS ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR AWAY FROM ME.’”
Matthew 7:15-16, 20-23: “15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? …
“21 Not everyone who(H) says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”
Saying that you pray to God means nothing. Saying that you believe in and worship God means nothing. You do not keep His commandments on your heart because you choose your way and not His.
I do not like mixing religion with politics.
Who cares what you like? God doesn’t. I don’t. God does not separate religion from politics. You speak from the world and not from the Word.
Colossians 3:17: “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” This destroys any perceived nobility in keeping politics out of one’s “religion”. Paul notes that God forbids any such separation.
1 Corinthians 10:31: “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” This includes voting! BTW, “All” in the original Greek text, is interesting because the Greek word here for “all” means…wait for it…ALL !
Proverbs 3:6 ” In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” In what ways are we commanded to ackowledge Him? “Some”? “Many”? “Most”? “Nearly all, except for politics”??
Your disobedience and your active support for a man who actively contraverts God’s will is your fruit by which you will be rightfully judged. Not by me, but by God. Good luck with that, Dave.

Chris,
You mah bitch, bitch. BTW, bring your wife/girlfriend an’ yo momma. I’m opening a cash only business as to avoid the higher taxes by osama… so git them whores checked and come on in…
David,
Just because your father was who you say he was that does not make you anything. If you want to be anyting you got to do that yourself. I say this because I fought a war but do not expect to transmit anything to my kids through my DNA. Yup, as puzzling as this might sound to you, kids have to earn their own stripes. You did not.Instead you chose the low road /or got brain washed /or decided to become a wellfare sponge if you are not one already. Is degenerated sellouot assholes like that who made this possible. Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it. And I hope you do… The question is: will you survive it? I know I will (done it before), but best of luck to you…
