Obama: global “warming” a “national security” threat

That junk science fad known as global “warming” is being discredited each and every day, but since when has the left allowed facts to get in the way of screwing things up?  From al-Reuters:

“We have the opportunity now to create jobs all across this country, in all 50 states, to re-power America, to redesign how we use energy, to think about how we are increasing efficiency, to make our economy stronger, make us more safe, reduce our dependence on foreign oil and make us competitive for decades to come, even as we’re saving the planet,” Obama said.

Dave in Texas (via Ace) has saved me the legwork of translating Uhhh-bama’s B.S. (and that doesn’t mean “Bible Study”!):

We’ll create jobs (federal), re-power ourselves (pixy dust), redesign our energy use (stop using it), think (think), strengthen our economy (tax it), be safer (ignore actual threats), reduce our dependence on foreign oil (see stop using it) make us more competitive (ignorant) AND save the planet. 

God help us.
