Obama: Hey, how’s about we prosecute the folks who prevented an al Qaeda attack on L.A.?
Man, for a non-Muslim, dude sure seems to get his turban boxers in a bunch over successful efforts to thwart bloodthirsty jihadist camelhumper attacks. Just sayin’.
The Central Intelligence Agency told CNSNews.com today that it stands by the assertion made in a May 30, 2005 Justice Department memo that the use of “enhanced techniques” of interrogation on al Qaeda leader Khalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM) — including the use of waterboarding — caused KSM to reveal information that allowed the U.S. government to thwart a planned attack on Los Angeles. Before he was waterboarded, when KSM was asked about planned attacks on the United States, he ominously told his CIA interrogators, “Soon, you will know.” According to the previously classified May 30, 2005 Justice Department memo that was released by President Barack Obama last week, the thwarted attack — which KSM called the “Second Wave”– planned “ ‘to use East Asian operatives to crash a hijacked airliner into’ a building in Los Angeles.”
Here’s the conundrum for the left: Supposedly, torture doesn’t work, right? But supposedly, Bushitler McRummyburton “tortured” Al Qaeda detainees. As the evidence shows, we obtained plum information from these supposed “torture” techniques that prevented tons of American deaths.
So either (a) “torture” DOES work and Bushco were guilty of, um, saving American lives; or (b) this was NOT considered “torture” by Darth Cheney and friends, since “torture” doesn’t work. Either way, the left is screwed in their arguments.
It appears that this is yet another one of Uhhh-bama’s many promises that have expiration dates. Anything to throw the moonbat base who elected him a bone, right? Disgusting and shameful.
Friggin’ brilliant, B.O. Let’s punish the people who prevented the Left Coast from getting whacked 9/11-style.

A clip on CNN said that some of the “high-value” detainees were waterboarded over 100 times. In my thinking, “torture” is anything that would get me to talk after about, oh, 1 or 2 turns (“Hey, buddy, no need to use BOTH of my testicles as a pin-cushion; why don’t you let me tell you all about the conspiracy?”). I mean, after waterboarding number 131, maybe the terrorists just get bored and start talking to break up the monotony.

Let’s not forget, these are the same people who think putting undies on a jihadi’s head is “torture”.
Al Qaeda is saying the next attack will be directed at Washington, so go ahead Hussein…tie the hands of all intelligence sources.
The dude is such a TOOL!

I still think that this government will try to bring charges against anyone connected to the interrogation of any muslim. I mean there’s a congressman who still wants to impeach Bush OR Cheney and they aren’t even in office anymore!

I for one would love to see charges brought and a trial. Imagine the discovery process ALONE when BHO has to testify under oath (and pelosi, reid, etc) about what they know of the “torture” and when they knew it. Not to mention declassifying many memos showing that it worked…for those reasons alone it will not happen. Plus they need the spectre of Bush hanging around. Once they say “let’s move on” then it’s all their game. They NEED bush to be the boogeyman for the next 3+ years.
