Obama wraps up “My country sucks” tour
We were warned that a B.O. presidency would be a second Carter administration, and we’re seeing that in many respects: punishing the successful, increasing our dependence on foreign energy, crushing taxes, and now, shameless pandering to international dictators and thugs.
“We have at times been disengaged, and at times we sought to dictate our terms,” Obama said to loud applause. “But I pledge to you that we seek an equal partnership. There is no senior partner and junior partner in our relations.”
So we shouldn’t “dictate” our interests to anyone, right? But we should make kissyface with dictators who, by definition, dictate their interests to everyone. Friggin’ brilliant, B.O.
His buddy Hugo then gives him a present: a viciously anti-American book. B.O. accepts it gratefully. Heck, B.O. likely agrees with everything in the book anyway. Preaching to the choir, are we, Hugo?
Notes Oprompter:
“You know, I thought it was one of Chavez’s books,” Obama answered. “I was going to give him one of mine.”
Which book is that, Das Kapital?
Exit question: Why would you want to be president of a country you didn’t even like?

And to think that anyone would perceive Obama as a socialist?

Why would you want to be president of a country you didn’t even like?
It’s all about the perks and the power. Obama clearly has no love for this country. He’s the most narcissistic human being I’ve ever seen.

Or maybe because he wants to punish the country his mentor hates? How about that Jeremiah?
Comment by tnjack | April 21, 2009
When he said on the campaign trail that he was going to “fundamantally change America” people should have paid more attention. He is doing that right now.
Comment by dj | April 21, 2009
Yeah, he loves this country so much that he wants to remake it in his own image. You know, Revelations predicts the Anti-Christ as being a supremely charismatic leader that preaches peace and love, who people will blindly follow… Just makes you wonder.
