Dem Congressman wants to close the Mexican border

Finally, a Dem with some common sense about the security risk posed by a porous border with Mexico! At long last, a leftie who recognizes the economic drain on this country by the hordes of criminal immigrants taxing our social infrastructure with demands on our criminal justice system, health care system, etc.!

Just kidding. His sole concern is the swine flu problem. All those other problems are no big whoop.

To recap: Closing the border due to reasons unrelated to swine flu is not feasible, but closing the border due to to swine flu is totally doable and a moral imperative.

Got it. Thanks for the clarification.

Obama is going to use the Swine Flu “epidemic” as a means to force his socialized medicine agenda, and to also get his pro-infanticide pick, Sebelius, appointed to HHS.

P.S. Since when is 40 people in the entire country having the flu considered an epidemic? This whole thing is nothing more than a diversion so we don’t see what Obama is really doing behind the scenes.

Kanaka Girl,you hit that one out of the park, my read exactly. Annually 30,000 people die of the usual strains of the flu. Obama is talking about rounding people up. This guy seriously needs to go. Modern liberalism is an evil, vile scourge on society that must be rendered impotent. This ideology has proven to be a demonstrable failure and incredibly harmful when administered on the body politic. Finally, I had a happy childhood, so my worldview has NOT been “warped” by a lousy upbringing. Quite the contrary: I have been blessed, and my outlook has been molded accordingly. I won’t apologize for having grown up in a loving, middle-class family.
