Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Obama’s approval below 50%

There may be hope for this country yet.

Exit prediction: The MSM will get wind of this, start pooping up the economy and burying bad news, just in time for midterms next year.

  2. If Oprompter’s polls keep going down he’ll have to finally leave the campaign trail and start shooting some photo ops.
Or maybe Shrillary will resign and start campaigning against him?

  3. It’s too early to start writing Obama’s political obituary. Remember back in 2001, Bush was still battling questions of his legitimacy and his biggest political concern was the jumping of Senator Jeffords and embryonic stem cells. The 9/11 attacks had yet happened, not to mention the War on Terrorism. Both of those events changed his presidency and almost guaranteed him a second term. I agree things don’t look good for Obama and the Electoral college map is looking even worse than his poll numbers with Ohio, Indiana, Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, Colorado and Missouri polling strongly against the Pres right now. However there is a long time until 2012, and lots can happen between now and then.

  4. Oh, I know, Steve. In 1994, the GOP swept into Congress simply by running commercials of “this guy voted with Bill Clinton 90+% of the time”, because Bubba was massively unpopular. Two years later, Bubba was re-elected by a comfortable margin.

Also, in 2006, George Allen was leading in polls against Jim “fellating a Cambodian Boy” Webb a couple of months before the election. Allen utters “macaca”, and he lost the election.

In politics, a few months make up a political lifetime.
