Obama recruiting government snitches to hunt ObamaCare opponents

As a follow-up to yesterday’s post with the video evidence of B.O.’s desire for socialized medicine, we now find out that The Supremely Thin-Skinned Leader is trying to snuff out opposition to his plan to eliminate private insurance.  How?  Well, here it is from the White House directly:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care.  These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation.  Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Mighty Orwellian of you, Chairman Zero!

The same guy who told his mob to “get in their faces” last year is now commanding his mob to rat out people like me who oppose ObamaCare.  Of course, his mobs are OK, but the people who are showing up to discourage their elected leaders from foisting his socialist piece of garbage on America are displaying a “mob mentality”.  One man’s “mob” is another man’s “civilian force”, I guess.

  4. Good post. I Googled this item, stumbled across your blog, and like the content and style.

    This item and the fact that the DNC is having a fit of the vapors over a few old codgers and codgerettes (ordinary Americans like me) melt down at government’s responsiveness during the town hall meetings is symptomatic of an administration — and a left wing — who are in free-fall. One’s mind reels at the irony of choosing the e-mail address of flag@whitehouse.gov doesn’t one? I mean, was bedeutet dieses “flag”? (What does this “flag” mean?) Are they perhaps making a veiled refeence to the epitome of paranoia, Colonel Flag of M*A*S*H fame?

    Trust me, you want to see this blame-and-spin continue. This attitude that Boxer is expressing — the epitome of the DNC Meltdown (cf. Hot Air) — is insight into how truly clueless the left is. They are mis-judging this anger by a country mile and will pay dearly for their naivete in upcoming elections.
