I just came from my local town hall with our Democrat Congressman. Despite the fact that I live in a somewhat conservative old-style Southern Democrat district, I was very pleased to see that 90% of the people at the town hall weren’t buying what Obama and the Democrats were pushing. People were respectful, but made it very clear they weren’t drinking the kool-aid. I think the Democrats may be in for a big surprise in 2010. I just hope and pray it’s not too late for the country.

Crush is right. 14 months is too much time for things to change but what an awesome possibility! His squeaky, mousey little voice swearing how the war was lost in Iraq needs to be played daily for 14 months until election day….plus one!

Hopefully, as you say, this is a sign of things to come. It would be such a relief for Conservatives to be in control of Congress and thus bring back ‘checks and balances’ into Washington.

Although, it seems like the Townhalls are doing a pretty good job:-)
