The “You lie!” guy took some caffeine pills two years ago

That’s the new MSM meme, folks.  Joe Wilson (R-SC) must be hopped up on some kind of drug in order to think B.O. is a liar.  Judging by the polls, most Americans must be hopped up, too.  Excerpt:

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.), who shouted “you lie!” at President Obama during his Wednesday night address to Congress, admitted to regularly consuming caffeine pills in 2007.

It is unclear if Wilson still takes NoDoz, a brand of pill that contains 200 milligrams of caffeine a pop. By comparison, a seven ounce cup of drip coffee contains 115 to 175 milligrams of caffeine.

A source told The Hill in 2007 that the congressman ingested the tablets “like candy,” but Wilson insisted he was not addicted despite the fact that he had been taking them since high school. …

NoDoz…a legal product that can be bought at any drugstore or gas station.  And the MSM is all atwtitter about this?  Seriously?

In other news, our president used to be an admitted cokehead.  If Wilson’s not careful, that NoDoz could wind up being an intro drug.  You know, one day you’re popping NoDoz trying to stay awake for a college exam, and then the next day, you’ve moved on to harder drugs like…well, like cocaine, which would qualify you to be president of the United States.

Nope…no liberal media bias!

  1. The MSM! Obscene!! We used to make fun of the articles in the National Enquirer but now it seems they may be more credible than ABC or CBS or NBC and especially PBS!

  2. The Enquirer broke the Silky Pony lovechild story that the other MSM sources wouldn’t touch. Turns out the Enquirer was right. So yeah, they have more credibility than the MSM does.

  4. THIS JUST IN!!!
    An unnamed 62 year old woman from South Carolina reported today that Joe Wilson (R-SC) made an unwanted sexual advance toward her. Sources who wish to remain anonymous because they are not authorized to discuss this matter publicly confirm that the congressman, while in the basement of a friend, spun an empty beverage recepticle. Once the recepticle stopped its revolutions it was pointing at the unnamed victim at which time, the congressman forced himself on her. This vicious attack was witnessed and encouraged by at least a dozen onlookers.

    A spokesperson for NOW, Ivana Hoompalot, says the organization is demanding the congressman’s IMMEDIATE resignateion.

    The justice department is looking into a special prosecutor, but seeing how this event happened at a 7th grade birthay party in 1960 they report the statute of limitations may have expired. Unnamed justice department officials however are unrelenting, looking into possible witness tampering, conspiracy and/or acessory after the fact charges.
