WREC is our local conservative outlet here in Memphis. A few years a go Air America came to town on a station with twice the power and a better signal as WREC. The format tanked. It was gone within 18 months. The reason lib talk is not accessible is that it has no listeners and no ratings, and stations owners won’t carry it. That’s happened in more than a few cities.
