Dems: To blame Bush, or not to blame Bush?
Some Dems: Hey, this “blaming Bush” thingy isn’t working too well these days, is it?
Carville and other Dems: You know what I’d do right about now to reverse our current decline? I’d do something really clever, unique, and totally unforeseen. Something like, oh I dunno, and I’m just kinda spitballin’ here…maybe blaming Bush or something?
Pass the popcorn!

Hey, great writing, “Finally, I had a happy childhood, so my worldview has NOT been “warped” by a lousy upbringing. Quite the contrary: I have been blessed, and my outlook has been molded accordingly. I won’t apologize for having grown up in a loving, middle-class family.”
So true, I guess we were middle class my mom pinched a penny till it screamed, my dad worked so hard and was underpaid, had three brothers. One thing led to another years later and my dad embarked his career elsewhere (where he was appreciated) and quadrupled his salary. My mother was happy and spent that money. They have scraped to pay for college and the loans for years after…
So, this crap about “entitlements” is hogwash!
Get off you butt and work, sacrifice, save to buy later, pass up what you’d like to have now to prepare a better future. I hated leaving my kids at sitters, etc. while I worked or drilled on weekends. It was hard but “nothing from nothing, leaves nothin’”.
If you prefer to drive a fifty thousand dollar car and live in a shack. That is your choice, but don’t take my tax dollars to do it.
Doggoneit.
