Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Quote of the day, “Obama thinks Tea Partiers are hypocrites” edition

From President Kick#ss:

“Some of the same folks who have been hollering and saying ‘do something’ are the same folks who, just two or three months ago, were suggesting that government needs to stop doing so much,” Obama said. “Some of the same people who are saying the president needs to show leadership and solve this problem are some of the same folks who, just a few months ago, were saying this guy is trying to engineer a takeover of our society through the federal government that is going to restrict our freedoms.”

Oh. My. Stars.

Fox Nation attacks that stupid, moronic, petulant pseudo-retort from one angle:

Is the president saying that he didn’t react quickly because he was trying to placate Tea Party activists, thus blaming them for the slow response? Obama almost makes it sound like he let the Gulf die to make a point against those who are for smaller, more responsible government, doesn’t he?

Exactly.  But I’m attacking it from another angle.

Oilbama doesn’t realize, or he does and he’s just being a jack#ss, that there are some things that the feds are not responsible for getting involved with (i.e. bailing out banks, taking over health care, nationalizing auto companies, etc.) and there are things that the feds are responsible for managing (i.e. environmental disasters, protecting federal waters, etc.).  Tea Partiers are not clamoring for bigger government, President Urkel!  They’re clamoring for the government to actually do something efficiently that it is supposed to be doing anyway.  Dude, you suck at comparisons!

Worst. President. Ever.

Students attacked by swarm of killer bees and bugeyed-crazy moonbat Dem Congressman, but mostly by bugeyed-crazy moonbat Dem Congressman

Bretibart’s got the video, and here’s the news story (with link to the video):

North Carolina Congressman Bob Etheridge (D-Lillington) is taking heat after a conservative blogger posted video on YouTube showing him in a confrontation with men carrying cameras on a Washington street.

The story by Breitbart.com contributor Mike Flynn says the men were students. In the video, they ask the congressman if he supports the Obama agenda.Read the blog and see the video

Etheridge’s reaction is to demand to know who the photographers are. He then gets physical. He grabs the camera from one man and then takes him by the wrist. In the video, the photographer’s faces are blurred and their identities aren’t given. They never identify themselves to the congressman other than to say they’re students working on a project.

When they continue to refuse to identify themselves, Etheridge grabs one around the neck and then the shoulders refusing to let him go. The man eventually slips Etheridge’s grasp and the video ends.

I take exception to the opening sentence that states the moonbat legislator “is taking heat after a conservative blogger posted video on YouTube showing him in a confrontation with men carrying cameras on a Washington street.”  He’s not taking heat for something the “conservative blogger” did.  He’s in trouble for something he did, which was assaulting someone who had the temerity to ask him uncomfortable questions…questions he was free to ignore, in fact.

Memo to NC:  We’re trusting you to take out the trash on this guy, m’kay?  Thanks in advance.
