Muslim soldier, hailed by CNN, who went AWOL for refusing deployment to Afghanistan arrested in Fort Hood for trying to make explosives
Boy, CNN sure does know how to pick ‘em, right?
Last year, CNN reported on a Muslim soldier serving in our military who refused to be deployed to Afghanistan due to his Muslim upbringing. CNN gave this guy the full Lewinsky treatment, gushing over his alleged “bravery” and humanity for not wanting to kill people.
Yeah, about that “not wanting to kill people” part…
Police in Central Texas have caught an AWOL Muslim soldier from Fort Campbell, Ky., at a motel in the city near Fort Hood after he asked how to build explosives at a gun store.
A law enforcement official told CBS News that Pfc. Naser Abdo’s questions about explosives and how to build them made the gun store employee suspicious. When police questioned Abdo at his motel, he made references to a plan to kill or injure people, the official said.
On top of that, the goathumper is a pedophile. Again, kudos to CNN for featuring the savory types amongst us.
If Islamonuts like this guy don’t kill us, political correctness will.
Exit question: Did this jihadist nutbar not stop and ask himself “You know, I wonder if it might not be a good idea to be a Muslim sniffing around a TX gun store for info on how to blow stuff up?” Seriously, Mohammed…Texas?

Is CNN still on the TV? Seriously. Who’s still watching it? Okay, probably a couple of folks in Vermont at the most. Their picking of this loser for accolades last year was incredibly stupid. But, hey, it is CNN.
Army needs to take a closer look at known muzzies in the service. PC is out the window at this point, or should be.
Stupid liberals, put us all in danger from the nutjobs within.

J – we can’t even get DHS to acknowledge that muzzies are committing 99.9% of the acts of terrorism around the world . Given the track record of colossal stupidity exhibited by our liberal overlords, they’ll be more likely to profile white Christians in the military, rather than Muslims. According to Big Sis, the Tea Party are the true terrorists.

Right KG. And as I’ve said before…..Liberals CANNOT be expected to keep America safe!

KG & tnjack, It’s not just the USA where Libs have there head in the sand. Look at Europe. The Libs there are completely blind to the threat.

I am curious to know how you can be for “small government” and also be a “social conservative”. Do you believe that the government should enforce how citizens conduct their private lives? How can the government do that AND be “small” at the same time? If you want to advocate small government but take a Libertarian position on social issues, I understand you. But otherwise I am scratching my head…

Polly,
Thank you for the question, though I’m not sure how it relates to this post about the Muslim soldier.
I don’t want to be presumptuous about your question, so please elaborate on how you think being a social conservative means advocating government interfering with private lives. What part of private lives do you think social conservatives advocate government interference? I think I know what you mean, but again, I don’t want to put words in your mouth.

A woman’s right to control her own body, for one thing. The right of same sex partners to form the same kind of contract with each other that a man and woman do when they marry, for another.

Polly,
Yeah, my hunch was correct. So here we go:
A woman’s right to control her own body, for one thing.
If you mean the “right” for her to murder her unborn, then no, I do not support that “right”. Liberals are depraved enough to focus on the “choose” part, totally ignoring the murder part. As if the baby would “choose” to be murdered.
The right of same sex partners to form the same kind of contract with each other that a man and woman do when they marry, for another
A gay man has the same right to marry a female that a straight man has. That he chooses not to is immaterial. Personally, I don’t think government should be in the marriage business in the first place, but since they are (and likely will be for the rest of the time left on this planet), then I have no problem with God’s “one man, one woman” commandment being in effect.

We are a nation of laws. Abiding by those laws does not make one an advocate of big government.
I always marvel when liberals use the “woman’s right to control her body” excuse to justify murder. No one cares what a woman does with her own body, but using it to take the life of another is murder. By that logic, all murderers should be acquitted becuse they were “in control of their body” as they pulled the trigger.
