Guy Benson has a plethora (Three Amigos flashback) of Oprompter quotes related to the debt ceiling issue, but in my view, this one’s the biggest howler of them all:
We’re not out here trying to use this as a means of doing all these really tough political things. I’d rather be talking about stuff that everybody welcomes — like new programs…
“Stuff that everybody welcomes”?
Right, which is why Americans voted en masse to toss his party’s compatriots to the curb in 2010 and put in politicians that are fighting for the exact opposite of that which he alleges we really “welcome”. Then again, I suppose when one has lived in the leftist cocoon (or, rather, “cuckoo-n”) like ObaMao has for his entire life, it’s easy to project that kind of socialist nanny state vision on a mass of people you do not understand and to whom you cannot relate.
