Man YEAH! It sure would be GREAT if we brought BANKING to and END! And these EVIL corporations should also come to a HALT! Wouldn’t it be AWESOME if there were NO corporations and evil capitalist BANKS around?! Man, what a utopia this land would be if there were no PRODUCTS being manufactured, and no JOBS provided, and no TAX revenues because most who pay taxes work for PRIVATE industry…and how SUPER awesome if our cell phones no longer worked and we couldn’t buy new computers when ours break down because we demanded the shut-down of those wicked corporations that provided such horrible luxuries for a price?!?! Who needs corporations and their greed? Not to mention how WONDERFUL life would be with no banks to loan people money…but hey, who needs loans when the EVIL corporations are no longer making cars (or paying people to make them) to finance?! Boy, I sure wish Exxon, BP, Valero, and all the rest would be SHUT DOWN. Who the HECK wants gasoline to put in their cars- made by EVIL corporations for the disgusting motive of profit?! We need the GOVERNMENT to provide EVERYTHING!!!
Wait, how will the Government pay for it with no corporations to both tax and to provide income for OTHERS who pay taxes on that very income? Without corporations, there would be no MONEY to be made by the government in the form of taxes (even the middle class would be penniless without an EMPLOYER)…there would be NO tax revenue then…ah but who CARES man!?! It would be GREAT if all of this were brought down, wouldn’t it?!?!?!??!

Oh, and another thing! While it is offensive for Bank of America to charge customers a $5 fee for using their own debit cards…its FAR more offensive to demand the government to do something about it…here’s an idea…CHANGE BANKS!!!!
Comment by Kevin | October 7, 2011
Actually, BoA is charging $5 a month precisely because government DID “do something about it”. They said when the Durbin amendment to Dodd-Frank was being debated, banks will lose money on what they could charge vendors who accepted debit cards and would thus have no option but to pass the cost on to consumers. Democrats ignored them, and now BoA is doing exactly what they said they would do…and they’re being villified for it. Wells Fargo, Citi, and other big banks have already announced they will also implement such fees in order to offset the regulatory costs incurred as a result of Dodd-Frank.

Birkenstock “Devon” footwear… $210.00
North Face “FREE THINKER” jacket… $499.00
DROID X2 Smartphone by MOTOROLA… $549.00
Photo of you protesting against the corporations which created the very brands you would not be caught dead without… Priceless
There are some things, like reason, logic and accountability, that money can’t buy. For everyone else, there’s Liberalism.

Here’s a thought: BofA is charging $5.00 a month for you to use your debit card, $60.00 per year. Yet, they are advertising a BofA credit card with a 1% cash back. So, why not use the credit card, pay it off monthly and collect the 1% back on the purchases you make. In other words, they will pay you to use their money. I would bet most people would get more than $60.00 back per year. I do, just not with BofA.

Very good point as well D.!

Yeah, these protestors are totally clueless. “useful idiots” is the phrase which comes to mind. Most of them have no idea who is behind all this “spontaneous” action.
I was watching the news last nite and thought it would be great if there was a way to shut off all the electronic devices in the “protestors” group. What would they do then? Probably go back to where they came from.

I wonder how many of these people actually work a job?
Comment by Kevin | October 9, 2011
Tax the rich and the corporations… they are evil! All they do is risk their capital so that they can provide job opportunities for the spineless who don’t have the nerve or capacity to put their own skin in the game. And, for those who are unemployed and blaming the wealthy; get off your butt and go pick produce, dig a ditch, wash dishes, clean a house, mow a lawn, bus tables, be a janitor, DO SOMETHING TO HELP YOURSELF!!! The gov’t does not owe you anything. If lazy Americans weren’t receiving government assistance through unemployment, food stamps, welfare, etc; all the social benefits that are now paid for by the rich and the corporations, they’d take a job that is now performed by illegal’s; thus, reducing unemployment, and reducing incentives for illegals to cross the border. It may hurt a little to get back on track. We may all pay a little more for a head of lettuce, but if we all endure the pain, we will eventually find equilibrium in the markets.

These people give new meaning to the term “unwashed masses”….by all accounts the stench of the unwashed moonbats rivals the aroma of NY sewers.

The Zombie Apocalypse has begun………
Comment by Dave H. | October 11, 2011
These masses are unwashed because they refuse to get off the unemployment line and grab a sponge.
@ Gary, they ARE doing something to help themselves…they are demanding free stuff from those who have more than they do! They are treating “wealth” as a natural recourse (such as air or water)…it ISN’T. “wealth” is MONEY. Money is SOMEONE’S property! In order to “spread” it, you have to TAKE that property from those who rightly OWN it and give it to those who do NOT have any right to it. (I’m not rich, but I sure as heck don’t believe I am entitled to their property).
I knew a guy who was filing for disability. While I do NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT (hey liberals, I do NOT) imply that all people who file for disability are like this dude, I share the story just because! Anyway, this dude filed for disability. While the legal process was pending (over 12 months – good ol’ govt), he was offered a JOB doing something very easy…just drive a vehicle around town with advertising on the vehicle! That was it! His response” Nah…my lawyer says if I get any job, I won’t be able to get the DISABILITY money (that’s money from YOU and ME via taxes)!!!
I promise – this is a true story. SO, he went another 4 months with NO income (other than food stamps), he got money from his church and his in-laws, and did NOT work, when he actually COULD do the job of driving a freaking CAR from point A to point B…but hey, his patience paid off in the end! Quite similar to the way investors patiently waiting through the initial years of a business venture where their income is low and then get they pay off as the business finally takes off…this guy patiently waited through the period of time where he wouldn’t work (getting by on the charity of others….what a user) and FINALLY he got the “free” money (free to him).
My point, these people want the “free money” rather than the working and waiting.

[...] So is Mr. Z really sympathetic to the OWS crowd? I mean, here he is teaching them a lesson in capitalism, and my guess is that the morons will be stupid enough to buy his attire, oblivious to the irony of the situation. They already are clueless, railing against corporations while buying goods and services from corporations. [...]
