Obama loses at least one delegate in WV Democrat primary, doesn’t crack 60% of the vote…against a federal inmate?
An obscure federal prison inmate gave President Obama an unexpected run for his money in the West Virginia Democratic Primary Tuesday, highlighting the deep dislike for the president in the Appalachian heartland.
With 96% of the precincts reporting Tuesday night, Keith Judd was holding steady at 41% of the vote and had won ten counties.
Judd is also known as federal prison inmate Number 11593-051 at the Beaumont Federal Correctional Institution in Beaumont, Texas, where Judd is serving a 210-month sentence for extortion and making threats at the University of New Mexico in 1999.
According to both state and national Democratic Party rules, Keith Russell Judd is entitled to receive at least one delegate from West Virginia for the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C. because he received 15% of the vote.
Dude couldn’t get 60% of West Virginia Democrats on board in a primary with a joke of an opponent. A convict. How friggin’ awesome is that?

That is totally awesome. We can only “hope” his downward spiral continues.
Liberalism is a serious mental disorder.

And of course this WAS front page at the NY TImes, and the Washington Post, yes? Yes? No? hmm…weird.

Um, doesn’t it say a little more about the people of Appalachia (not all of course) than it does about the president?

I think it says they’re smart enough to know that even a felon is better than a Marxist/Communist.

Alli,
Nope. It says the president is less popular than syphilis. But thanks for trying to insult the people of WV. Shame it didn’t work out for you.

Well, hating on someone so much due to mere disagreements that you’re willing to settle for a felon does say a lot. BTW, nice try pulling the “insult the people of WV” card. I’ll save that for the coal mine company honchos that insulted, lied to and hurt the people of WV.
Comment by Alli | May 10, 2012
Yeah, Alli, because what has coal mining ever done for West Virginia? Oh, wait…

You know what I mean

Typical liberal tactic – imply intellectual superiority over those that disagree with them. “What does it say for the people…”? It is a clear public statement of what they think about the president…and let’s talk about felons, Ali!
How about Obama’s dear friend and “distinguished” professor, Bill Ayers. You know, the FELON that is responsible for approximately TWENTY bombings, one which resulted in the accidental deaths of his retard colleagues (you know, the “intelligentsia” like himself) when they blew themselves into torment while fumbling with their bomb which Ayers originally confessed was being built to kill US Soldiers from Fort Dix, NJ (it was a nail bomb, for crying out loud – antipersonnel). He later claimed that their failure to injure anyone was by design…but that claim was made as a “replacement” for his earlier admission:
http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/167989/bill-ayers-unrepentant-lying-terrorist-andrew-c-mccarthy#
So, let’s talk about felons. Despite what you might assert, Ali, you know darned well that had it been George Bush that was friends with a domestic bomber (let alone extended praise to), you and the media would have NEVER stopped talking about that!
Yes, the what does it say about the people of Appalachia?? That they want the entire country to see how highly they regard the leading member of the Distinguished Felons Fan Club.
Felonies…those things liberals falsely believe that they can mitigate.

I was pointing the West Virginia Primary to a liberal friend of mine who said…well it’s West Virginia a state filled with Republican Red Necks. I reminded him West Virginia voted Republican for the 1st time in 70 years for Bush 43, it has a Democrat governor and legislature and is filled to the brim with Union Coal Miners that are bussed to the polls.
He changed his stance quickly.
Comment by Steve | May 10, 2012
Typical psycho tactic to go assuming one is a liberal. What about Bill Ayers? He should be in jail and not a respected education professor (Steve could probably tell I have little tolerance for “education experts” who never actually taught in a class room. Your point? Oh yeah, you’re believing he was a “friend” of the president when the only evidence found was having served on a board together. Have you ever served on a local board or committee (or even through your job)? I currently do and want to vomit every time two certain people open their mouths. But I didn’t appoint them and someone above decided they deserve to be there too.

Obama’s first campaign launch party was held in Bill Ayers’ home. They’re more than board buddies.
Comment by Kanaka Girl | May 11, 2012
There you go again KG. You’re trying to use facts to cloud a liberal’s issues. Good job!
Comment by tnjack | May 13, 2012
Oh TN and KG, I guess you guys mostly talk community rather than get involved (not that I blame you – a campaign launch party is the last place I want to be also). Honestly, most candidates hardly know their “hosts” on these things.
